We stayed here for 5 nights in late September on a friend's recommendation (having also read other Trip Advisor reviews). We loved the place!
We checked in sharp at noon and our rooms were immaculately clean. Two very comfy and large double beds and more room that you might expect to get in NYC.
The staff couldn't have been friendlier. The buffet breakfast is good - croissants, bagels they will toast for you, freshly cut up fruit for cereal/yoghurt. Tea/coffee and juice its all you really need to start your day.
Best thing about this hotel was the 5-8pm cocktail hour where in the cafe you can have free prosecco (or red/white wine) and nibble on wine and cheese, popcorn, veggie dips and nuts! It was perfect as you came in from a busy day on your feet or for a refreshing drink before you head out.
Yes the hotel doesn't have a bar area - if you are a beer person you might be disappointed! But we saved a fortune on not having to buy drinks before we went out in the evening.
Rooms were always well scrubbed each day. Lobby staff couldn't have been friendlier. A computer to use in the cafe for the internet.
We loved it!

If you want a hotel that's right in the middle of it all, this is it.How it is so amazingly quiet considering its location is a miracle.Attentive, polite staff, high quality breakfast & the cheese & wine early evening is a nice touch & makes a pleasant start to the evening ahead.Rooms not very big but certainly comfortable & one doesn't come to New York to stay in one's hotel room anyway.

I will definitely return to this sister hotel of the Library (also in NYC). It was cozy and comfortable. Larger room then most in NYC. It had a great location, just steps from Times Square, but was quiet. Great breakfast and PM wine and cheese. Great parking situation, just steps from the hotel.

All the good things have been said in previous reviews. Just two points; the Casablanca is 57 paces from Times Square, not a 'spit' or 'just in the Square' - I like precision! The rooms are on the small size. Otherwise, I cannot fault the staff, the cleanliness, the service and the friendliness. A real find - enjoy!

We stayed for a week on our second week in NY travelling through the States. Great location - right on Times Square and Broadway. Room was generous in terms of space for NY. Staff were friendly and routinely met us with "welcome back".

Breakfast however was sometimes difficult to get into with space at a minimum in Rick's Cafe. We ate out for breakfast on a couple of days and the others in our room because we just couldn't get a seat.

Being so close to Times Square we were concerned there would be a great deal of noise, but this didn't happen and it was surprisingly quiet.
