We arrived here about midday to get a 3 hour fee rental with the New York pass.. We waited a bit for one of the guys behind the desk and faff on a bit (perhaps he was new), but then we were given our bikes and offered helmets and locks too. Had a lovely day in the park and no hassle dropping off the bikes all went smoothly. Would recommend with the New York pass.

Having purchased The New York City Pass and being keen cyclists we thought this would be a really good way to see the Park. We went on the Sunday 9 AM tour, a group of around twelve of us on the tour (I'm glad we opted for this tour as there was a tour just about to start as we arrived back which was much busier). Lasting approx two hours we did a nice leisurely ride of the park, I believe the total distance we did was around 6 miles stopping at some of the key sites including The Bethesda Fountain, Jackie Onassis Reservoir and Strawberryfields. Our guide was very knowledgeable, making references to sites where movies and TV shows had been filmed and providing a very detailed into the different parts of the park and the buildings that surround it!

We went for this tour as it was included in the City Pass, we elected for the 9am 2 hour guided park tour. Our tour guide Joel was very informative. Would recommend to anyone, a really nice way to see Central Park, seeing parts you wouldn't normally see. You need to comfortable cycling for two hours and to cycle on the road.

This place was only visited because of the New York Pass. There were about 5 groups of 2-4 people in front of us and it took about 30 minutes to reach the counter. At this point we were told there was not enough bike locks which are included in the New York Pass price. Considering the trip we had planned, we decided to cancel it and ended up walking through the park. Unfortunately we didn't get to see everything we wanted, but we weren't willing to risk the theft of an overpriced bike. Service was neither good nor bad, but in a country of tipping I would think bland service is the same as bad service.

Scheduled the Central Park tour online a few hours ahead of time. Easy.

Arrived a bit early. I was unhappy about two things:
1. No bathrooms. Really? You are going to send folks out on a tour and have no bathroom?
2. The bikes didn't have water bottle holders

Everything else was great. Liked the bike, liked the helmet, seat was comfortable, etc. Fast paperwork and on our way.

Important to note that my son and I were the only ones signed up for the tour and they still did the tour. Greatly appreciated.

Best part was the tour guide Richard. Knew his stuff about the park, very laid back, we had three stops where he watched the bikes and set us out of foot for 10 minutes or so to see something cool. Highly recommend him.

It was about 6 miles and went all the way around the park.
