Like a family atmosphere The ACE Boutique Hotel very fashionable high society New Yorkers. I loved the place, the delicious coffee shop, the staff always friendly. Located perfect for those who love to shopping without stress, or lose time in traffic, looking for the most famous shops stores and perfect places for entertainment, shopping in just a few minutes walk. Live music every day in very spacious lounge bar, people from all over the world enjoy the great moments with the wonderful drinks. I loved this The ACE hotel because it's so relaxed despite being in the city center I felt like I was in my own home. I can`t wait to go back.

We stopped in for a mid afternoon cocktail in the lobby. Actually, we were scouting it out for our next visit to NYC. The lobby is the hub of this hotel. We had the charcuterie board and wine leaned back in the leather sofa and enjoyed New York' energy. The John Dory oyster bar is right off the lobby with indoor and outdoor seating. Next trip we will try the rooms out! This hotel has character.

The hotel is an oasis of night life for the 20-30 crowd. My husband and I were less than impressed. Purchased the room in advance on a discount site, got what we paid for. Walls paper thin and yelling/partying, doors slamming in the hallways continued all through the night. The atmosphere attempts to be hip, perhaps it is...too dark for us. Pipes coming out of wall in the room serve as a clothes hanger. Double bed, more like an oversized twin, very uncomfortable. The tub/shower didn't drain and reached the top of the tub before the shower was done.

Great city hotel. It offers the basics and suitable for people who feel young and lively. Very nice loudly lobby with free wireless where you could feel a New York citizen for a little. The stumptown coffee was the best that i have ever tried.

As a former New Yorker I tend to be picky about NYC hotels. Stayed at dozens of them, and seldom have I had such a great experience as at the ACE. Love the neighborhood, and the rooms although modern and boutiquish are comfortable and roomy (I did not stay in the Mini-room, so I wouldn't know about the size of those). Looking forward to coming back (actually, I booked already)

Just returned from USA, What can I say perfect hotel in an amazing location! This is the most unique hotel I've ever stayed at and would recommend it to everyone. Located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, walking distance from many of the most popular destinations like Empire State Building, Times Square, Macy's, and the Broadway theaters.

With a staff that is warm, friendly all fantastic and go out of their way to be helpful whenever they can. They are very attentive and make the place a real five star experience the Hotel reinvents the urban hotel. The room simply amazing, vintage furniture, comfortable bed, outstanding linens with blankets to die for, the luxury amenities include room were dazzling, loved the Smeg frig! I think all or most rooms have Polaroid cameras, take them with you and discover NYC, very retro, I have got the most incredible pictures.

Highly recommend a visit to Stumptown Coffee in the lobby, where not only the guests go, but locals go there too, great for starting for your day at NYC.

The online pictures of the hotel do not do make justice. It’s impossible to capture the cool vibe of this hotel in a picture….and I have tried!

If you want one of a kind New York experience…. Stay at the Ace

We booked on Booking.com and stayed in a "Medium Room" (room 517) for 3 nights and the total came to a bit under $1000 for 3 nights, so pretty decent value for a nice NYC hotel during their peak summer season. The room: spacious, with a large bathroom (rain shower big enough for 2), and a comfy bed. The room was kept very tidy by the staff throughout our stay. There was a view of the Empire State building from our window! Only downside is that the only seating is a vintage, not too comfortable office chair. Cool, but not ideal for hanging out and having a drink with company. We were not bothered by the noise outside our window; sure, the walls are not exactly soundproof, but they are not paper-thin either. The hotel: in a safe, convenient location (within walking distance to Broadway if you're interested in a show), staffed by very friendly, helpful people. The Stumptown coffee shop is amazing! The lobby is more of a darkly-lit lounge, and it does get pretty busy and loud at night. Personally, we liked the vibe, but if you prefer a quieter, more tranquil setting, you may not enjoy it. Bar drinks from the Breslin are tasty. We didn't order any food, but our friends did and they said it was okay, but overpriced, and served by a disinterested waitstaff. Stuff to eat and do: hop in a cab and head to SoHo for eats; Cafe Habana is a hipster hangout that serves tasty and well-priced Cuban food, while Pylos is a classier restaurant that serves amazing Greek Food. The Delicatessen is a great brunch spot. Make sure you walk the High Line, which is the old, raised railway re-purposed as a beautifully gardened pedestrian walk-way. Shop at Uni Qlo for good quality and basic clothes at a very reasonable price (forget American Apparel for over-priced tees and come here for sure!).
