I'd read the reviews and studied the website, but Mount Morris still exceeded my expectations. The house is stunningly beautiful, restored with love and attention to detail. Our room was large, filled with character, with a very comfortable bed, bath, and large powerful shower. We had access to a shared kitchen downstairs for making tea, coffee etc. - very civilised! Everything was scrupulously clean (I'm slightly obsessive on cleanliness and even I was impressed!) The breakfasts were huge and changed each day - sometimes boiled eggs and bacon, sometimes Greek delicacies, sometimes pancakes or croissants. There was always a range of fresh fruit, cereals and breads. The coffee was delicious. Everything about this place is special.
We would also like to thank Vasilly and Dimitri for hosting us during our volcano-induced delay. I can't imagine anywhere I would rather be stranded.More
