We have been staying at the Milburn for about 15 years and each time it only gets better. The hotel is older but well maintained and the staff is extraordinary. The breakfast is very good and the rooms are large and beds are very comfortable. The kitchenettes are great. The hotel is located on a quiet street just off Broadway and only a short walk from the subway.
I almost fear recommending this hotel for once the word gets out it will become too popular.

Room Tip: Most rooms are very quiet, On lower floors ask for a room in the rear.

We stayed at the Milburn for 3 weeks last summer during our daughter's dance intensive at Steps on Broadway. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a suite and it was big by New York City standards. The hotel offers free continental breakfast, which is helpful if you are in a pinch. The location is great and close to restaurants, shops and Steps on Broadway. The only drawback is that the Milburn had many problems with its internet access during our stay and not all rooms have access.

The rooms are spacious; they are equipped with a large screen TV, kitchenette, and very comfortable beds. The rooms are very quiet – no street noise. The staff was warm and welcoming. The complimentary continental breakfast was adequate. It included coffee, tea, fruit, bagels, toast, cereal, and orange juice. The hotel is in a great location: good neighborhood and close to shops and Metro station.

We just loved the Milburn. The rooms are so comfortable and quiet, and the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Love being on a quiet street on the Upper West Side, close to the park and museums. It was lovely.

Just spent 5 days and highly recommend this hotel. Wonderful location. Walking distance to great restaurants and museums via Central Park and metro stations. Room is comfortable - bathroom is a bit on the small size but still very functional. Liked having a suite. Staff were all very courteous. Breakfast is basic but works. Would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: I stayed on the 15th floor and had a very nice view.
