My sister and a friend booked this hotel for our three night stay in NYC. When we first arrived and saw the outside of the hotel we were not sure we were going to stay. It was scary looking. The front desk person David was very nice and gave us the option to view the room and if we decided not to stay he would not charge our credit card. We were three women who needed our own beds. Our room had a bunk bed and a single bed. The room was small but clean. The A/C worked. We decided to stay and in the end we had a good time. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. We could walk out our door to a fresh slice of pizza or walk to Macy's. Just be aware this is a no frill hotel. If you want coffee you have to go next door to the Asian bakery. The maids cleaned the room everyday and left clean towels daily. If your looking for soft comfortable towels and sheets go a fancy hotel. If you want a clean safe hotel to lay your head and save money for other parts of your trip cinsider this hotel.

This is the absolute worst hotel I've ever stayed in and that's not because the rooms are the size of a small closet, the cleaniness as well as the upkeep of the hotel is horrible, the rooms and linen were disgusting, if you are going to stay here (which I strongly DO NOT recommend) bring your own linen and cleaning products

Me and my friends, we stay in this hotel for christmas and for a few weeks. Hotel was very expensive, dirty and noisy. They cleaned the room just once a week. Room was small. But good location. Anyway I dont recommend this hotel. Once and enough. Even I had to pay for the wifi which didnt work.

HORRIBLE HOTEL EXPERIENCE-
- very dirty
- roches everywhere, I mean everywhere. I was laying in bed a huge roach with wings was crawling above me.(see picture of dead roach).
-Roach was in elevator.
- elevator extremely small- tight fit for 2 people
- requested queen bed when we got there we were given 2 double beds.We were told no room with queen beds were available. Additionally we were told by staff the room we got was a lot bigger than the queen room. Staff mentioned that queen rooms were just big enough to hold the queens bed.
-no ironing board
-no lotion
-no soap
- water down shower gel and shampoo in dispenser
-no tooth paste/ mouth wash/ coton balls/shower cap
-1 light in the bathroom was not working
-toilet paper dispense broken
-no ventilation / fan in washroom
- room had 1 small mirror
-no shelve space in wash room
-rusted towel holders/shower/radiators
-stained toilet seats
- paint chipping throughout bathroom
-stained/ unkept tiling in restroom
-no lock on bathroom door
-VERY UNCOMFORTABLE BEDS/ AWFUL PILLOWS/ NO BLANKETS
- woke up with terrible back pain- 1 of the two beds were extremely hard
-pillows were a sack filled with sponge.
-2 windows- no view- saw 2 feet space between buildings.
-old AC-1995 model
- could not reach the AC to turn it on/off
-no closet
-no extra table/chair/desk
-no lamps.
-no TV stand
-EXTREMELY SMALL TV mounted on
wall- 12 inches
-TV mounted so high (touching ceiling) could not hear volume.
-No radio/ No digital clock/ No night stand.
-NO carpet or rug
-Room was full tiled
-bathroom style tile throughout room
-hallway smelled bad
-worse of all, after spending 1 night ( only about 5 hours in the room) found bumps on my arms and legs--see picture.
-room was awful..
-paid $190.00 for a Wednesday night.
-DEFINITELY THE WORSE HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER---WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND IT--UNSANITARY/ DIRTY/ UNPLEASANT-

WILL BE CONTACT DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH!!

Room Tip: All rooms are terrible..I stayed on the 2nd floor -- room 218--awful, don't stay. This hotel is...

The room was the size of a walkin closet. It had a set of bunkbeds and a twin bed in it. No room to move around. Although I will say the room was clean. The location wasnt bad, close to subway and taxi's are always driving by. I would not recommened. For 100 more per night you can get a much nicer place.

The budget hotel was located great! Front desk desk staff David and Susie were fabulous! But the rooms were very small and somewhat dated... But the price was very reasonable. So if you're willing to give up luxury or price this is your hotel
