The first thing you notice is lots of people. Then there's lots of Statue of Liberty Models who will let you pose with them for a pic, if you pay them $2. There's some live dance performances going on. Food, ice cream and stuff. Off course some old Harbor plaques and statues describing its history, erected in the memory of men who who no longer live. But the highlight is the cruise on a big boat which takes you "for a ride" around the Statue of Liberty, the Manhattan Bridge and all along the New York Skyline. Live commentary makes it even better. There's even a Helicopter service for those who can afford. The views are scenic and the boat ride a memorable experience. Too bad they don't let you go to the place where the Statue of Liberty actually is. On the way they show you old jails and immigration areas, history in words and live. Just loved it.
