“What a thrill!”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

This is a wonderful opera, great soloists and choir. Spectacular scenography. We saw La Boheme and enjoyed every act, especially the one with a horse on the stage. The opera room is not that interesting, but great view from almost every seat. Remember to take a look at the Chagall.

“One of the greatest experiences in the city”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

I found by chance that, right before the opera starts, they sell at US$ 20 all the tickets left. I was lucky enough to get a really goood seat at the mezzanine. The quality of the opera, the building and the atmosphere made them one of my most precious memories of the city (I went there in January 2012 though, but tripadvisor doesn't let me properly update the date of my visit)

“I love this location”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

Watched a few Operas in the Grand Tier and it is amazing. I was able to see a few shows and Premium prices but that didn't stop me from going here.

It is a must see in New York to come to this location.

“Best opera house in the world”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

It's hard to see a bad opera here. World famous performers. If you can catch the national council grand finals in March each year. Young and up coming performers in a great competition. Tickets are inexpensive.
