Owner description: Colonial gentlemen used to "bowl" here, at New York City's oldest park, paying one peppercorn per year for the privilege.

"Bowling Green" at that time had acquired some significance, so I stopped in my tracks when I suddenly espied it! There's a small garden there - a quiet oasis in this humungous city.

The iconic Charging Bull, and the Fearless Girl are nearby. The latter is my favourite. I love the way she's staring down the Bull!

The park is the oldest park in New York. I loved the the beautiful landscaped sitting area with vibrant red tulips and fountain.A peaceful place to rest, take photos and scout your next adventure.... Which would probably be taking a photo around the CHARGING BULL OF WALLSTREET.Good luck with that.. As people dangle from every point of this animals bronzed body my desire faded. This bull cant get any rest.. I found that late at night the crowd will thin enough to get close. Bowly Green has the NYFilm school near, also Street vendors for hot dogs. Large Native American and Central America Museum to the left of the fountain as well and the National archives building is housed inside. Subway acess is right there. While visitng I woke up every morning and walked to the fountain area to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather and architecture on the historic buildings.

This a good place to take a break. it is lined with benches that are quite busy at lunch-time.
It's location is between the Battery and the Charging Bull sculpture, but it is fenced and can serve as an oasis on a busy day.

It's a small tiny greenery nearby the Charging Bull and the Fearless Girl. It's very beautiful considering its much less people compare to the main attraction.

This Bull is a symbol of Wall Street however, it’s become a very busy spot. If you want a picture it’ll take a long time to do. Tour buses will stop for this. It’s a a statue of a bull, a bit larger than what a bull is but that’s about it. It’s nice to see but I wouldn’t go completely out of my way just to see it, or barely see it because of all the people around it.
