My cousin and I were looking for a place to have tea in the late afternoon after a day of sightseeing and shopping. We decided to go in to the Four Seasons. We were ushered into an elegant airy eating area just off the lobby. Everything about the experience was very enjoyable. Often, open spaces such as this can be quite noisy but it was a treat to be able to carry on a conversation in a normal tone of voice. The tea was served in generously sized individual teapots and it was HOT. The scones were light and flaky and came with Devonshire cream. It was a lovely break in a tiring day.

Dined here while staying at the Four Seasons Hotel and the experience was memorable. We had small plates and my Manhattan Cocktail was perfection. The atmosphere was elegant and stylish. The food was excellent and the service was superb. Our dining experience at TY was fun, relaxing and memorable.

Yes, the meal is good quality...not great quality but surely good. And yes, the tableside prepared cesare salad is very good (maybe even great). And overall, the service is professional and competent (though not extraordinary). But I have the good fortune to travel all over the world, and dine at some of the finest places on the planet, and none of them charge the completely ridiculous prices which the Four Seasons does. Come on....$26.00 for a salad? $52.00 for a piece of fish? $18.00 for a very small (unbelievably small) piece of cake and $11.00 for a plain cup of decaf coffee?? Without wine, our dinner for five was nearly $1,000.00. Read my reviews and you will note that rarely do I complain about price. I spend with the best of them. But unless you simply do not care, know that this is a RIDICULOUSLY overpriced restaurant, and be prepared to give your wallet or expense account, one heck of a work-out. There are WAY better restaurants throughout the city, offering fine dining and excellent service, for WAY less!! Skip this one.
