This is a spacious, airy room that creates a comfortable environment for dining. There is a great bar for casual or solo dining. This restaurant has been open for a number of years and remains a consistently fine restaurant. Food preparation shows innovative approaches and is reflective of the season. A good Midtown choice.

This is one of those places where 4 servers are working your table at the same time, but besides the excessive attention, the food was enjoyable with fresh and innovative ingredients. The space is beautiful too.

Pros:
Very inventive and subtle cooking including a wide range of ingredients.
Pleasant service.
Spacious dining room.
Very good value for the lunch menu
Cons:
Unconvincing wine pairing selection with very immature wines.
Annoying background music that has no place in a high quality restaurant
Restaurant is closing soon, losing not only its lease but also the Chef

The food was good but far from spectacular. Our group had called ahead to ask if it would be possible for the chef to prepare a vegan meal as we had one vegan in our group. We inquired again on arrival. The dish that the chef prepared was an uninspired dish of overcooked vegetables that had no defining flavor nor any hint of creativity - or protein. My own scallop dish was quite tasty. The server graciously took our empty wine bottle to have the label removed and came back with the label attractively affixed to a Rouge Tomate postcard. The deserts were equally unremarkable. We had expected more from a Michelin rated restaurant in New York
