Nothing really flash about these apartments but the position is wonderful for those wanting to be right in the centre of the city. Around the corner from Times Square, in the theatre district, close to MOMA and a subway. There is a supermarket close by and an apartment is great for preparing a quick meal between sightseeing and going to the theatre. The studio apartments we have stayed in are quite small but are very clean and have everything needed. There are coin washing machines and driers available in the basement for guest use. Would not look any further than these apartments if we return to New York.

Room Tip: Higher floors have no street noise

Flew in to NY for a weekend to see a few shows. Booked a fantastic room in this place for the weekend. Great location. Excellent room with kitchenette. Clean and comfortable. Steps to Rockefeller. Exceeded all my expectations!

My friend and I spent 8 nights at Radio City apartments in October. The building had been renovated to a good standard and was 50 meters from the 49th Ave subway and 5 minutes walk to Times Square and all the nearby theatres and restaurants. There was a laundry in basement open from 8pm for residents as it was used during day for laundry from the building. The wifi connection was fair depending on how many users were on it at any one time. There were plenty of places for breakfast and all meals nearby and for self caterers a supermarket 5 minute walk away. It is close to the Rockefellor Centre,5th Avenue, Hop on Hop Off bus etc
All in all it was a great spot and the studio apartment with its kitchenette was just what we wanted

Room Tip: Ask for a room on upper floors to try and avoid the usual NYC rod noise. The building is in a quiet street by NYC standrds

This is a great little apartment hotel in midtown. Close to 4 subway lines so easy to get anywhere, Time Square is a 5 min walk. Was great to have a kitchette. Whilst the room was small, it was well appointed. Bathroom was spotless, with new fixtures. There was a bit of street noise at night - however I did not find it so loud or annoying that I couldn't sleep.

We stayed for 3 nights, and then 5 nights. The first room was one ending with an "11" (forget which floor) and was much more spacious than the second one, even though both were one-bedroom. In the second there was very limited hanging space for clothes.
Reception is efficient and helpful.
The location, as others say, just can't be beaten, especially at this price.
We ate at the attached Italian restaurant one night and the food was very good.
The slowness of the lifts didn't really worry us - that's life, and a delay of 60 or 90 seconds wouldn't be a deal breaker.
We had no problem with wifi, which was uniformly fast throughout our stays.

Would definitely stay here again. Gotta love a place which has perfected the art deco of towel folding! (see pic)

Other Positives:
1. There is an arrangement with a gym a few blocks away (Bally) to be able to use their facilities - one free pass per day per person. Ask at reception. The gym also has a reasonable size indoor pool.
2. Cooking facilities and full size fridge (ask for the location of the full supermarket a block away)
Negatives:
1. Wow, is that aircon noisy! As another reviewer said, you have to leave it on pretty much constantly, and it makes a huge racket. It prevented one of our party from sleeping, as it was also located right next to the bed; so arctic blasts were the order of the day (she decamped to the pullout sofa bed)
2. Laundry facilities are only available after 8pm , and there can be a bit of competition. It is actually the hotel laundry...everything is industrial size, and takes ages, so it can be a late night if you have a lot! Still, much better than sending out to very expensive hotel laundry services.
3. The plates and bowls and cups provided are just adequate. Bit scanty for a proper meal. And there are no salad bowls or the like (minor quibble)
