I went to New York with three friends to go to the US Open. Our room was great! Lovely patio with great view of the city. Amazing staff! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room had a nice living space and large windows that you just don't find in New York! I would definitely stay here again!!!

We stayed at the French Quarters guest apartments last time we came to New York in 2010 and had a great stay so decided to stay there again this time. Yet again we were not disappointed. It is a charming 'boutique' hotel with great staff that really take care of you. From the front desk staff that we met (John and Tori) to the quintessential New York General Manager, Colin McCormack (whose knowledge of the area, sights and history has no bounds), they are a great team. The room was 5 star, with a French theme, luxury bed and bedding and a balcony looking out on time square. The French quarters district is a quiet leafy area whilst having a buzz being only two blocks from times square. We had a great weekend made even better by this great gem of a hotel. Thanks to the French Quarters again for a wonderful stay!

Really cool rooms, very nicely decorated to a very high standard. My 10 year old son and I spent the night at The French Quarters on a NYC layover on our way to Florida from London. Beds very comfy, bathroom very high spec, clean with great power shower!
On the street level there is a great old style Orleans bar which served excellent food, had great service and was very kid friendly. Overall, great place to make your short stay in NYC, as two blocks from Times Square and subway only a block away.

We stayed one night at this charming hotel in July. We arrived one hour before the check-in time, but as we have arranged by email, the friendly hotel staff kindly put us up right away, that was really nice after long flight.
The room is tastefully decorated with black and white. Bed is comfortable. The room was equipped with a mini kitchen (refrig, and IH cooking surface). The high-end coffee maker with free coffee and tea was also a really nice touch. We enjoyed it a lot!! The bathroom is super clean and has a nice shower. They give you l'occitane amenities.
We also appreciated the free wifi service. Although we had difficulty with connection in the beginning, the staff worked on it and it worked at the end.
All the staff are very friendly and helpful, so if you have any problem, just ask.
Breakfast buffet was satisfying with bagels, muffins, hard boiled eggs, cereals, fruit, juice, etc.
There are many restaurants around the hotel, and walking distance to Times Square.
Hotels in NYC are all expensive, but if you need a convenient, clean, and safe place to stay, this is a good choice.
We got it in last minute right after someone's cancelation, so you may be lucky to get a good deal.

We loved this quaint hotel that felt just like we were in NOLA. I loved having a mini fridge and a Keurig right in our own little mini-kitchen! Breakfast was nothing special (except for the GREAT coffee) - but to have it included was a bonus for NYC. The bathroom was AMAZING! My only complaint was the temperature in the room made it hard to sleep. We stayed in March and it was so hot we had to open the window just to cool off a little. The staff said our AC was on - but it was sweltering in our room.
