Friends of mine recommended this hotel on Park Avenue South .... They still are my friends.... But barely so.
Upon entering the hotel I realized that this is not my place. Colored Swarovski chandeliers adorning the ceiling and an eclectic.... Or out f place selection of uncomfortable , but arguably cool furniture in the lobby ,this place looks like an attempt to design a hip hotel has gone horribly wrong.
The place s built on the cheap, the elevators resemble freight elevators and the entire hotel is so noisy that one wonders how cheap can one build before the building collapses.
The walls in the hallways and separating guest rooms are Sheetrock ,so beware if you want a quiet night of sleep. The rooms, though spacious are equally noisy, the beds, while comfortable have smelly pillows. The Minibar..... Well... A highlight, never seen a bar as well stocked as this.from several intimacy kits to champagne and vodkas in decent bottles and plenty of snacks. Clearly a party hotel and with the rooftop bar and people lining up on the street this s a place for the thirty something..... But not for me.
