We stayed at the Gansevoort Park Hotel for a total of eleven nights in January 2013 (separated by a weekend elsewhere) and can recommend the hotel highly. Everyone on the staff is friendly and obliging, and the rooms are modern and comfortable. Unfortunately we never made it up to the rooftop bar, which must be great according to the photos. However, the muscular gentlemen wearing dark suits and earbud security who decide who goes up in the bar elevator are very polite but somehow intimidating, so we did not even try the bar. Maybe next time!
