The reception by the doorman was the most friendly we have ever received. In a sort time explained where we were and where to go for what. He seemed to genuinely care about making us feel welcome.
Check-in was carried out efficiently and we were given a room that lived up the requests we had mailed to the hotel beforehand: a ’12 series room (Because they are one of the largest) on a high floor (For the view). We were on the 36th floor.
The room had a fantastic view!! Sitting in the sofa enjoying the view at night after a long day and a good dinner is just great.
It was a large room by New York standards with quite high ceilings and large nice bathrooms.
The bed was very good – with 12 pillows!!!!
We did not visit the restaurant.
Good place for breakfast within walking distance is Baltazars on Spring Street.
The suggestions for places for dinner offered by the concierge were all good.
Overall a great hotel. Good service.
Would love to stay again.More
