Early twentieth century limestone clad gothic style church amongst towering skyscrapers.Interior features white carved screens behind the altar and interesting carvings on the choir stalls showing ‘modern’ inventions like the radio and telephone.

Everyone goes to check out St Patrick, which you should. But you’re cheating yourself if you don’t go to St Thomas, which is just a few blocks away. Absolutely beautiful altar area and ceiling. I was in awe. We just walked around didn’t attend service but would like to on a future trip

This church is lovely, feels like a sacred space, and is an important architectural site. The new organ (an $11 million Dobson pipe organ) is incredible, and there are free organ recitals most Sundays. Come for a service, stay for the coffee hour, meet new friends, and find your sanctuary in the belly of the best that is Fifth Avenue.

St Thomas is a moving venue, where the faithful gather and visitors are welcome. Peaceful, epic, and impacting the eyes and mind of every person walking into this inspiring church.
