Absolutely fantastic.

The Mave really is a superb hotel. Loved the modern, stylish themes throughout the place. We stayed in a Boulevard King room and it was very spacious.
Breakfast of coffee & pastries was a very nice treat as most hotels don't offer breakfast in NYC.
Staff were great too.

Thank you to the Mave ;)

Room Tip: Boulevard King for sure. Very very spacious & on 6th floor.

I simply love NYC. Back in NYC for the 3rd time. My last visit was in June 2012. Spent 8 days at NYC this time. Went back to the MAve for the 3rd time. Like before, excellent services from the staff (both front-desk and housekeeping). Rooms are well cleaned daily and front-desk staff is always helpful. Glad that the MAve has a Guest Lounge at the 12th floor where breakfast is served. However, the only complain I have is about the breakfast. The items are the same since Dec 2011 when I stayed at MAve during my 1st trip to NYC. Perhaps, the management could consider varying the breakfast items. I will go back to MAve again when I am back in NYC. Not sure when, but, soon.

Because of work, I stay regularly at hotels around the mid-town area of New York. After a lot of experimentation, I now look to the MAve as my first choice. It's a little unprepossessing from the outside but the friendly service, sense of peace and quiet and the comfortable rooms make up for this. The people on the desk are uniformly helpful and the floor staff cheerful and cooperative. All hotel rooms in New York are noisy but, at least at The MAve, the sound insulation from within means you rarely hear people in other rooms. The rooms themselves are modest in size but they're stylish and comfortable and the beds guarantee a good night's rest. I am also always impressed by the clean functional bathrooms - again not very big, but it all works well.

There is a breakfast room on the 12th floor with a reasonable range of help-yourself food. It would benefit from fruit and other healthier options but it's all fresh and plentiful.

Overall a comfortable hotel with exceptionally friendly and polite staff and just a nice feel to it.

Room Tip: There are a couple of rooms on each floor that face to the rear and are quieter in terms of external noise. Breakfast is on the 12th floor; having a room on the 9th, 10th or the 11th means you can easily walk up and not have to wait for elevators. You can email the hotel directly with requests and, in my experience, they are responsive and helpful.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming right from the beginning. We chose the hotel for its great location, but the room turned out to be really great too. Everything was working perfectly. Especially the bed and the pillows were fantastic. The staff was eager to help with all our problems.

Very nice Hotel in the middle of Manhattan. Service is perfect, all employees are very friendly and helpful at any time. Rooms and bathroom are clean. Bed was very comfortable. Just the noise from the street was audibly. Despite i selpt very well. Breakfast was in a kind of livingroom with a sofa and some chairs and a TV. Served some patries and coffee.
A smal gym is available, but didn't use it.
Will definitely book the Mave again when coming back to NY
