“Unbelievable value!”
Reviewed 14 July 2011

I can't fault my stay at the Andaz Wall St. The hotel is amazing and the included extras really made my stay. Rooms are huge and I had no noise from the street. In the mornings it was so lovely to sit with a coffee in the lobby and read the papers, all complimentary. I can't believe the value for this hotel in a city like New York, it was amazing and I will definitely be back!

Stayed over July 4th weekend and all we can say is that it is truly an outstanding hotel. Service unbeatable. Very modern hotel. Would recommend to anyone looking for an upscale, very clean, terrific service and in the heart of everything.

Room Tip: On 12th floor, very quiet.

The minute you walk into the hotel you can feel the difference. Very unique check-in area, very open gift shop, complimentary coffee brewed to order, complimentary wine at happy hour, etc. The room we stayed in was a corner junior suite and had space and high ceiling, unlike most of NYC hotel rooms. The bathroom and shower/bathing room are separate and gorgeous and sexy see-through! HIgh-end Japanese brand TOTO is used for the entire bathroom. How nice! The bed is firm and so comfortable. In-room mini bar is complimentary (except for alcoholic beverage). The breakfast is very satisfying and the service is excellent too.

My wife and I spent one night at the Andaz Hyatt this past Saturday. The service was superb, the room was spacious and very comfortable with the sorts of amenities that I rarely splurge for. In this case it was no splurge at all - the room rate was downright reasonable - $205 / night which included a $50 credit (per couple) towards their excellent hearty brunch. The decor in the room was similar to a W Hotel I stayed in recently, complete w/ large soaking tub, rain forest like separate shower, huge desk w/ built in hookups for internet, power plugs, etc. The refrigerator was fully stocked - help yourself to anything - you only pay for the booze! Free chocolate bars, granola bars, chips, Saratoga bottled water, soda, etc! The room utilizes mobile and rotating furniture modules that i had never seen before - very cool. There was also a complimentary coffee / wine bar in the lobby. I have heard of exceeding expectations - but this was outrageous!!
And don't let me forget to mention how helpful and professional all the staff were - from lobby to maid service to dining room. Oh yeah, Wall Street is kind of a cool place to stay.

Great NYC hotel. Have stayed at many and this one is top of the line. Very clean and modern. Staff was very friendly. Nice wine reception every evening plus complimentary beverages and snacks for your room. Large rooms by NYC standards. Great place to stay for a weekend get away or for business.

Stayed here for a downtown wedding and found many good points and some odd ones. The good: extremely comfortable bed, great rain shower, free internet, free soda and snacks in the room plus free cappuccino and cookies in the lobby. The bad: terrible lighting in the room and bathroom (impossible to put on makeup!), black bathroom tiles that make you wonder how clean that shower really is, unnecessarily hip light switches and hidden mirrors that make a challenge out of simple acts, and a clock radio that woke us up early (shame on housekeeping which should always turn it to "OFF" after guests check out) and was so complicated we couldn't figure out how to disable it. The lobby is a happening place with young pleasant people to check you in and make you comfortable, but no doorman so getting a taxi can involve some hunting on your own. They have no parking so you're on your own. We parked 4 blocks away for $36 for 24 hours, the best internet deal available.

We spent three nights here over the Fourth of July weekend. Service was good, especially so in the restaurant. The room was clean, although some finishes are showing a bit of wear already. The bathroom lighting is woefully inadequate for applying makeup; this dark lighting/dark tile design seems to be the hot ticket in hotel decor lately. The hotel was SUPER QUIET and the air conditioning worked beautifully w/o all the racket of those old wall units. The bed was firm for sure, but we slept like kittens. The location was great--no crowded sidewalks, close to the water, and steps from buses and the subway. If you have stayed in any other hotels in NYC, you will be astounded at the room size at the Andaz--our last room in mid-town would fit in our Andaz room three times. We received an excellent rate w/ a package deal and we would most certainly stay here again.
