“Excellent Service -”
Reviewed 21 July 2012

It's been a while, but this hotel was a great experience. The room was bigger than most hotel rooms in NYC. It was pretty spacious.

The bathroom was gorgeous but yes, a little dark when I was trying to get ready and the water does leak from the shower.

Checking-in and out was done swiftly and I really liked the added touches:

Free wine in the evening - go to the lobby - servers very attentive

Bath products

Snacks they provided - things I would actually eat and drink

The free breakfast snacks and coffee was great as well.

For me, I actually didn't need to be in this area, so I should not have really stayed in the area. Though it was nice the get a good view of BK bridge etc. and see all the drivers line up in the financial district on a weekday night.

I loved the room and service - but if you don't need to be in the financial district....then it may not suit your needs (however there are some sites close by) - depends on what you're looking for....however, I could have planned out a few things around here before. I had to actually go to another hotel in more in Soho for the rest of my trip - so I didn't get to really get a feel of the area or stay in the hotel for too long. Lots of business people...

Room Tip: Check out the NY Stock Exchange close by...

As a Hyatt Diamond guest, my husband and I have had the pleasure of staying a many amazing Hyatt properties throughout the USA and Europe. We have had wonderful experiences and been treated very well throughtout the brand, causing us to be loyal Hyatt guests for over 20 years. We first stayed at the Andaz Wall Street several months after the opening over 2 years ago. Since that time, we have become loyal guests and have re-visited the property over 15 times. Each of our stays, ranging in duration from 1-8 nights, have been OUTSTANDING! This property is like no other than we have experienced in the brand. The service, people, accomodations, restaurant are all 5-STAR. Having said all of this, the main reason we return is the genuine care and concern shown by each team member to ensure a perfect stay for each guest. Truly a unique experience in hotel stays and ABSOLUTELY worth you money and time. We look forward to each return stay. I would encourage anyone travelling to NYC to experience the property, you will not be disappointed

Very nice hotel. We were very pleased with the comfort and facilities for the price we paid right in the middle of the financial district of NY. Check in was a breeze with very friendly and courteous staff and our bags were delivered to the room in no time.

The room we got was in level nine and was sufficient for a family of four but not very large. It was very well appointed with great beds and nice bath room done up in black marble. Well furnished and decent TV and bar fridge. Facing Pearl Street, the room was very quiet at all times. All non alcoholic items and beverages in the bar fridge were complementary during our stay and everything was replenished daily. There were complementary snacks, coffee, iced tea and chilled water available during the day at the lobby.

Minor downsides were the darkness of the dark marble bathroom and the slightly noisy air conditioner.

Hotel is walking distance from the NY Stock Exchange, 9/11 memorial, Broad Way, Staten Island Ferry terminal and Battery Park where the Ferries depart for the Statue of Liberty in Liberty Island. Subway Station is around the corner and plenty of Taxis are available at all times.

We did not dine in the hotel restaurant but there are many places around to have a meal – from Breakfast to Dinner.

We felt very safe in the area. There was always a Police presence and we walked around at all different times without any issues.

Overall a very pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in this area of Manhattan.

By far this is one of the BEST hotels in NYC. Its location is in the middle of everything in the wall street area and a quick cab ride from everything else. Aside from the unique and beautiful modern decor, this hotel has impeccable service. From check-in to check out, it was quick and easy. The staff was nice, very friendly, and willing to help with anything.

Check in literally took about 5 minutes, and to our surprise we were upgraded to a beautiful suite. We were also greeted with a nice surprise of birthday cupcakes in our room, it was a great touch. This room had 2 very large flat screen TVs, a great rain shower, and a large tub.

The only problem was that the water easily goes under the shower door and into the bathroom, but just throw a towel by the door to try and stop it from going everywhere.

Some other great touches were the complimentary breakfast snacks in the morning, and the wine at night in the lobby which was certainly good. The coffee and water throughout the day was excellent after some time outside in a hot summer day.

The complimentary snacks and non alcoholic drinks in the rooms were great, just wished they restocked it.

Overall it was a great experience, and I will be back again.

Room Tip: A must stay hotel, any room that fits your needs will surpass your expectations.

I love this hotel. If you want to stay in a good neighborhood you should stay at this hotel. Sean at front desk is great and a really funny guy. You should really give that guy a big raise.

The hotel is close to many subway lines. And you can really feel safe to walk home at night. A lot of cops in the area all the time.

I liked downtown much better than midtown, so if you dont need to stay at times square. DONT!
