We stayed at this great hotel the week it opened after the post Sandy clear-up so unfortunately some of the hotel services were restricted. Without wanting to repeat the content of all of the positive reviews, the only criticism I have is that we stayed in the hotel for a week, and there is no drawer space for storing anything that doesn't hang in the walldrobe. Therefore we had to more or less live out of a suitcase which wasn't ideaL considering the space available in our room.
Other than that, hotel well located. Although down in financial district, hotel is about 150 yds from the Wall Street 2/3 subway lines, and therefore only 10 mins from Times Square. Would strongly recommend

Modern hotel with all the right amenities in the middle of Wall Street. The pacial touch of Andaz with the free breakfast area in the lobby. The rooms are white with large bathrooms on a minimalist hyper modern design. there was a big party in the bar that Saturday night with an edgy young preppy crowd.

This was a really nice hotel, very modern and nice touches which included complimentary crisps and soft drinks in the room. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are ultra modern and I loved the wet room. Lovely fluffy towels which were changed daily. If I had a complaint it would be that it would be good to have a lock on the toilet door and it is also a little embarrassing watching someone having a shower through the window even though it is opaque.

Room Tip: Get a room high up for some good views of the city.

Stayed here for four nights in November 2011.

The size of the room was probably twice that of a standard room in Manhattan, but I guess that's due to the hotel being down in the financial district. As expected it was very contemporary which was perfect for us (couple in mid-twenties), and surprisingly it was very quite at night, even with the window open.

The location is the trade off for having extremely large rooms for a relatively low price. Having said that, Fulton Street station will get you pretty much anywhere you want within 10 minutes.

Overall, excellent hotel and would definitely consider it when back in NY.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at in New York. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom funky. Wi-fi is free and so is the mini-bar, except alcoholic drinks. The gym was non-operational due to Sandy.

Stayed at the Andaz for a week in June 2012. Excellent hotel downtown. Rooms were clean & very stylish. Fantastic staff gave lots of advice and ideas on restaurants and activities. Complimentary wine & nibbles in the evenings was a lovely way to start a night out in NYC. Free tea, coffee, fresh juice & snacks was a great touch. Could not fault it!

We stayed at the Andaz Wall Street for one night on 10/26; checking out the day before Super Storm Sandy. The check in process with Jessica was quick and easy. She was very helpful throughout our stay with suggestions for eating and shopping. The hotel was lovely and our room was very nice as well...loved the bathroom; though it could use a bit more lighting, and the complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic drinks..a definite first for me in a standard room. The hotel is in a great area and just a short walk to the subway for a quick ride anywhere Uptown.

Our AAA room rate included breakfast and we were not at all satisfied with it. For whatever reason, our waffles could not be delivered hot (they said they have no microwave) and after sending them back twice, just said forget it. However, this would not prevent me from staying here again. In fact, I'm looking forward to it.
