“Tiny place, good value”
Reviewed 17 February 2013

The menu in this tiny place is extensive. They offer a 3 course set menu for $18 with a fair number of. Choices on it. Went with our 3 year old, and ordered one set menu and another curry and appetizer. Portions were large and we wished we'd left off the second appetizer.
Service was friendly and fairly quick. Low-key, so good for kids.

“Easy quick and yummy meal for one!”
Reviewed 28 January 2013

Ducked in quick on a cold night for a meal while killing time waiting to meet up with someone elsewhere. I eat vegetarian and gluten-free and really enjoyed the Tom Yum soup and the Pad Thai with extra veggies. Service was quick as this is mostly a take-out place. They only have seats for about 8-10 people and it's a tight fit. But the food was delicious and reasonable. I got the prix fixe menu for $18 that included the soup, entree and dessert. Good portion sizes and great food, so a good deal. Thank you!

“Perfect cheap eats lunch. Superb”
Reviewed 27 November 2012

A very good lunch menu, amazing service, genuinely flavoursome dishes with just the right amount of spice. Definitely worth a visit. This street seems to have a concentration of very good restaurants

“Gem”
Reviewed 12 November 2012

We found this place by accident and OMG was it worth it !! We have not had Thai food like this in a long time. The place is small so be prepared to wait for a table. The started with the roti canai and were shocked by how incredible the flavor of the coconut chicken curry, if we were home we would have licked the bowl !! The chili mango chicken was really flavorful although the mago could have been more ripe. I had the drunken noodles with duck and the noodles were perfect with a generous serving of roast duck. We have ordered take out 2x since then and just love this place.

“Small in size....BIG on taste”
Reviewed 4 October 2012

My wife and I asked the concierge of our hotel for a recommendation. We did not feel like spending $50-70 pp on dinner as it was the last night of our vacation. We walked to 53rd Street and there were approximately 20 restaurants on this one block. We chose this Thai restaurant (there were two) because the health department gave it an 'A' and the other got a 'B'. What can I say? The veggie spring rolls were out of this world. My wife ordered something called "Hot Garlic" which she ordered with shrimp. The dish came with approximately 10-12 large, tasty shrimp and I had one of the fried rice offerings with chicken. The food was perfectly cooked and the bill was $36.50 before the tip. My wife also said the Thai iced coffee was excellent. The restaurant seats only 12. I would recommend this restaurant highly.
