Love this place. Rooms are modern with free and good wifi very clean, very comfortable and functional. Our room had a balcony view of the new World Trade Center and 9/11 memorial. The staff is FABULOUS. The hotel has nice little things such as an espresso machine in the lobby and bottled water taps on all floors and do it yourself laundry facilities if needed. The beds are comfy and location is perfect; quiet and not too over crowded. Our flight was cancelled due to weather and the staff was MOST accommodating!!!! They immediately rescheduled our ride to the airport and booked us a new room for the night. To our surprise she gave us a double room on the top floor, at a great price, with yet another marvelous view. I wish I knew her name. She was so sweet and helpful. I love this place and will probably stay there all the time when in NYC. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I visited this hotel on multiple occasions with work. The hotel is quite small and so are the rooms. The first time I stayed here my room had a horrible view of a service area and the second time I had a nicer view of the city itself so it is hard to judge. The rooms are however quite cosy provided you can get a room with enough natural light.

The hotel is pretty centrally located in terms of sightseeing. The 911 memorial is literally next door, Battery Park isn't too far away nor is Wall Street. If you hope to see Central Park, Times Square or anywhere else you will have to take the Subway or take a long walk up Broadway. There are a number of restraunts and bars nearby, as well as some shops like Century 21, but overall there isn't much if you hope to visit here on a shopping trip.

The two positives from this hotel are the staff and the 20th floor. The staff are very friendly and helpful and will always try to do their best for you no matter what. On the 20th floor there is a bar and restraunt as well as a Terrace area. This area has outdoor seating and some amazing views of the 911 reflecting pools, Freedom Tower and some of the amazing buildings in New York. It is a must see!

Room Tip: If you can, try to get a room with a balcony. This will give you a lot more natural light, which helps due to the small size of the rooms.

We needed a place to stay in lower Manhattan for an overnight trip. I booked through Expedia, took a chance on one of the surprise $100 deals where they don't let you pick the hotel, but they tell you the area and they are all 4+ stars. Easy to find from the subway except for having to get around construction at the WTC memorial/museum. The front desk/lobby is very small, they can only handle two people at a time, but the customer service was great and we did not have to wait long. We had a couple of drinks in the bar on the top floor, drinks were pricey like all of NYC, but the view of the memorial from there was spectacular and unforgettable and the service was very good & friendly staff. Our room was very small, about half the size of an average NYC hotel room, but it served it's purpose as a place to crash for the night and it was decorated nicely and clean.

Room Tip: Single bed rooms are small, not sure what the others are like.

We were given a free upgrade to a large room with a view of the 911 Memorial and the Freedom Tower. Our room had everything we needed - a comfortable bed, TV, great WiFi, fridge, tea and coffee facilities and a decent bathroom. There were some nice little extras - free laundry facilities and drinking water. We liked it so much that we extended our stay here by two nights,

Located directly from the WTC site and the new Freedom Tower, you can't get a better location! Staff EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. Roof Top terrace great place to hang, relax and eat/drink. Drinks and food reasonably priced and good too! Be sure to figure out the best walking routes around the hotel because the construction has streets blocked off.

Room Tip: Request a room overlooking the WTC site.
