the staff of the hotel was very helpful and the hotel was a good value and located in the center of the theatre district. Also had the ability to eat at the Lambs Club which is located in the hotel. Would recommend this hotel both for the quality of the service and the hospitality of the staff.

Impeccable service, super clean rooms, wonderful restaurant with a great fun bar in a fantastic location.... But the very very best was the service!! I stay there at the beginning of August and then at the end of the month. Both stays were great, both rooms fantastic and the service both times was consistently wonderful. Felt home soooo far away from my home. Gracias to all!

Room Tip: Rooms on the 10th floor are a dream. It is worth the extra expense!

A glamorous, luxurious stay in an art-deco, Stanford White-designed building. Granite floors in bathrooms! Extremely professional and accomodating staff. Well located near Times Square and local attractions and eateries, ie: New York diners!

The Chatwall is a lovely hotel no mistake but its just missing that extra special zing that's makes a hotel a true, luxury 5* hotel.

My advice after spending 9 nights there in a junior suit... Look around first, for this price there may be better.

A glamorous stay in an art-deco, Stanford White-designed building beautifully restored by Thierry Despont. Sexy, black granite bathrooms appear to sparkle with tiny diamonds, and the rain shower is big enough for a party. TV embedded in the mirror great for catching the morning news. Nice touch: the Asprey bath products. Guest room furniture is un-hotel like and inspired by chic, vintage travel trunks.
In-room bar stocked with shakers, cocktail glasses (order hand-cut ice from room service), beautifully wrapped chocolate bars plus books on the era that make you want to nestle in the stylish Corona chair all evening, but do make an appearance in the Lambs Club Bar downstairs and pick up a few good lines on the elevator ride down as the movie, "Girl in the Red Velvet Swing" (about Stanford White and 'It Girl" Evelyn Nesbit is perpetually playing in the elevator car). I didn't see a red velvet swing, but slip into a red leather booth for a vintage cocktail. Don't miss dining in the Lambs Club restaurant as you can't go wrong with the Geoffrey Zakarian menu, plus great people watching. But best of all was my butler, Brandon Short. Nothing he can't do, and so gracious while making you feel like a Broadway star!
