We stayed at the Intercontinental hotel at Times Square and must say we were definitely not disappointed in the location. It was right next door to the subway, Shake Shack and not a far walk from Port Authority Terminal and Times Square. Check-in was quick and smooth, our room and bathroom were extremely clean and spacious. Unfortunately our room faced the main street so we could hear the traffic but overall this wasn't a major issue. One minor disappointment we experienced was the inconsistency of staff responses to queries we had - for example we asked if there was left luggage service however was told by one member of staff that this wasn't available because they were too 'busy'?? For a large hotel of this size, I refused to believe this so the following day I asked another member of staff at reception who courteously advised us that this service was available at no extra cost. I am not sure why we were advised completely two different things but it brought upon unnecessary stress at the end of our trip.
