I didn't stay at the hotel, though I made a note to make sure to stay there soon as it has a great, elegant yet modern and clean feel... but ate dinner at I Fiori, one of the best hotel restaurants I've ever been to. A great amuse bouche to start always helps my palate to prepare for a great meal. Anything lobster is delicious...The bisque was tasty and not too creamy with bits of real black truffles... and the main course lobster delectable. My friend had the lamb which had foie gras inside to give it a rich and delicious taste. The tables are very large and nicely spaced. The vibe is so great both at the bar as well as in the restaurant itself. A must try experience...

Spent 5 days at this hotel (last week in October). We found the hotel to be very good, With lovely rooms & great service cant fault the hotel.
The only small thing was the location was not the best for our needs. But that's not the Hotels problems, this being said would have no problems staying at The Setai in the future.

After changing from original hotel, got a walk in price for the Setai. We had two studio suites over looking 5th Avenue and the Empire State building. The rooms were so relaxing and comfortable, wished I had just gone straight for these at the start. We were looked after from the moment we walked through the doors. Spacious, calming rooms and very comfortable bed. We liked the location as easy to walk anywhere and near subway station. Ate mainly in Chelsea area as lovely restaurants huge choice and they did not put on 20% tip! When we return would go nowhere else, our two girls were next door and felt safe and happy in their suite.

Room Tip: Go as high up as possible, that applys anywhere in NY.

just came back from a weekend in nyc. This is by far the best hotel i have stayed at in the city and would highly recommend to any one wanting a chic, beautiful place to come home to. Everything about this hotel is topnotch, a true 5 star. The only thing that I would say is not great is the location, although we were able to walk to virtually everywhere. Great staff, wonderful service.
