I was lucky to get a room at the sheraton tribeca last eastern holiday. I have been staying in Boston for a while and had the idea to spend my eastern holiday in New York, to stroll around, for shopping and just enjoy the city.

The sheraton was really a great place to stay. It s quite central, close to everything by taxi and the hotel itself was really up to standart. From the outside, ur kind of hesitating if you have made the right choice, but after stepping in the lobby u get really great feelig and are just looking forward to enjoy the rest.

Great service and great value..

Thank you

We traveled to New York City to celebrate a Wedding Anniversary. One of our daughters and her husband accompanied us. We chose the Sheraton Tribeca due to it's location....only 3 blocks from the International Culinary Institute. We were invited guests of Jacques Pepin. We shared a demo there with students of the Institue. This experience was the fullfillment of #1 on our "bucket List"
When the Front Desk at the Sheraton learned the reason for our visit, their smiles broke into extra-ordinary happy greetings whenever we crossed the lobby. The young woman at the front desk was exceptionally welcoming and we have determined by the reception given us that we shall look to the Sheraton group first in all future travels...Don and Patsy Hendrickson

Room Tip: Anything from the 10th floor up...We LOVED looking at the Empire State Bldg. straight across the roo...

My husband and I just stayed here for the weekend and really liked the location. It's at the West end of Canal street so you don't have to deal with all of the vendors if you choose not to. We like to be close to Soho and it's perfect for being able to get to all of the shops and restaurants in that neighborhood easily. Our room was a decent size for NYC and it was very clean. The lobby of the hotel is pretty nice with a business center, bar, and Starbucks coffee bar. We will definitely stay here again on future trips.

Spent two enjoyable nights in this hotel. Modern, clean room with comfy bed. Friendly reception staff. Subway round the corner. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby (Tamarind, 5 mins walk away, was an impressive, modern Indian restaurant. The lamb vindaloo was wonderfully spicy!) Canal St itself is on the dingy side, but during the day Tribeca and Soho make an interesting bohemian change from areas like Midtown.

I needed a hotel for two nights near Soho. $143/night and photos of the view from the hotel sealed the deal. Canal Street is not lovely but the hotel was nice and the view uptown is great. When I stayed there in February, most of the hotel guests were young, international travelers and that gave the place a cool vibe. My room was up-to-date, clean and perfectly comfortable. The hotel breakfast was underwhelming and overpriced, but Starbucks in the lobby was just fine. The staff was very nice and helpful. Early morning walks through the neighborhood were marvelous -- easy access to Soho and Tribeca, as well as taxis to go elsewhere.

Room Tip: Rooms on higher floors tend to have better views of the empire state building.

We are a family of four and had 2 "deluxe" king rooms on the 18th floor. The rooms are small but well done. I doubt the rooms can handle more than 2 people each.

We took the club level option and that made this hotel stay amazing --- the 21st floor terrace has great skyline views of the Empire State Building. Breakfast is included in club access and my 4 thought it was perfect --- scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, fruit salads, local bagels, pastries, whole wheat croissants, etc. The evening hors d'oeuvres are very simple but soda, water, tea & coffee are free and the views on the outdoor terrace cannot be beat!

if you don't have club access, Tribeca Bagels is right out the front door and open 24/7 - you can get drinks, fruits, smoothies, bagels, sandwiches, etc.

Location was great for us. We didn't want midtown this time. Access to the A C E subway lines is just around the corner, but it was well located to walk to SOHO, Lower East Side (Tenement Museum), Little Italy & Chinatown. We shopped at Pylones, Kate's Paperie, Sur la Table, Paul Frank, Vans --- all on foot!

Only real complaint --- even on the 18th story (1810 & 1812 are facing 6th -- Ave of the Americas) the traffic beeps and sirens in the evening are fairly constant until quite late. It did not affect our ability to fall asleep or stay asleep but might have if we were on a lower floor.

Parking is $55 per 24 hours - no in and out. Call ahead 30 - 45 minutes for your car to be brought around.

You must use the key in the elevator to go UP. I saw many people confused with how to do this. Look at arrow on your key, insert it and take it out. You will hear a little beep. Press your floor # and you're good to go! (You do not need to use the key to go down to the lobby.)

Priceline "named hotel" option was $229 Saturday then $159 Sunday + 14.75% taxes + $3.5 room fees but included breakfast and club level terrace access. Great deal!
