We very much enjoyed this hotel. The location put us in a great part of town for shows and dining, and even the MOMA, so we could walk easily. The staff was very friendly and helpful. While the lobby and common areas were smaller yet interesting, and the breakfast area was not exciting, the guest rooms were great, including the bathrooms. We selected a bigger room to fit in our family of 4. We also took advantage of the complementary wine, cheese, and fruit every afternoon. They had lemon water available almost all the time in the lobby. Note that prices vary based on the day of the week.

I was able to take a great run from the hotel, to the Intrepid Museum on about 46th St. and 12th Ave., then north along the water on a biking/running trail, past the Norwegian Breakaway cruise ship and up to 72nd St. (it goes much farther). From there I cut over across 72nd and into Central Park, running around parts of the lake there, down the middle of the park and out the southern end, and finally back to the hotel. Run time was about 46 minutes for about 5.8 miles.

We would definitely stay here again, especially if we had activity in this part of town!

Room Tip: We were on the street side, and only on floor 5, yet the outside noise was muted. We appreciated this.

Excellent hotel! Beautiful and spacious room, excellent staff and service. Highly recommended, including for family with young children. We upgraded for a suite upon check-in and it was perfect with two small children. The location could not be any better if you want to be in Time Square.
Best hotel we have stayed in New York in many many trips.

Room Tip: Suite are really spacious (for NYC) and perfect for family

My husband and I spent a week at the Pearl and loved it. We enjoyed being in the heart of the Theater District and Times Square, but just a half block off the hectic Broadway. Our room was spacious, linens were great, and the amenities were more than we expected. Our breakfasts were healthy and we enjoyed the happy hour at 4 before we started our evening. We felt very secure as the staff recognized us each time we left or entered the hotel. We used the transportation service the hotel offered,as well. We have stayed all over the world and feel this smaller, boutique hotel is outstanding and we'll stay here again given the opportunity.

We had a great stay at The Pearl! Thanks to all the staff for their friendly and helpful service. Our room was modern, very spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The room was located at the back of the hotel and was so quiet you wouldn't have realised we were so close to Times Square. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return in the future.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the hotel where it's quieter.

Stayed here as a family with our 2 teenagers. A fantastic small hotel right in the heart of all the attractions but on a side street so away from the main noise and crowds. The staff were really helpful and the free continental breakfast was great - could be eaten in the breakfast area or taken to the room. Plenty of cereals, toast, bagels, fruit, yoghurt etc. - enough to keep you going until lunch and without the hassle of trying to find somewhere to eat for breakfast. The room was spacious & stylish and perfect for a family with a pull out bed in the sitting area. There is also a wet bar with a fridge, coffee maker etc . The bathroom was beautiful with tub and a huge walk in shower. We ate at the EE grill that is adjacent to the hotel. The food and service were good. This is our 3rd trip to NYC and the best hotel that we have stayed in. We would stay here again.
