Stayed here for 8 nights, 9 days with my husband, son aged 20 and daughter aged 17 in a Deluxe Queen suite, two double beds and a separate partitioned sleeping area with sofa bed. The hotel is in a fantastic location, right next to Times Square but far enough away from the hustle and bustle and is double glazed so absolutely no noise. Situated right across the road facing the Eugene Oneill Theatre, at present showing the Book of Mormon, GO!. The room was huge and had a proper wardrobe and 3 flat screen tvs, including one in the bathroom. There is a fridge and microwave so you can buy soft drinks/water from the nearby supermarkets and keep them cool ready for a day walking about. The continental style buffet, including cereal variety of bread to toast, bagels, pastries, muffins boiled eggs and fresh fruit tea coffee was plentiful and fresh and the staff replaced items very quickly. soft seating area available to read the free newspapers is available after your breakfast. Never used the Gym. The hotel is spotless and very plush in décor. The downstairs restroom area is spotless and also a small area with free internet great to print out your return journey tickets. The hotel hosts a free cheese and wine hour each night, my husband went a few times and said it was enjoyable. The staff were really friendly and very courteous. When it was time to leave we had LOTS more bags/suitcases than we arrived with and the hotel kept them secure for us until we were due to be picked up later that evening and taken to the airport. They booked a car for us which cost $60 to JFK. The regular doormen that were on duty while we were there got a good tip each! Would go back in a heartbeat and cant wait to return to NY. Now that we have found this hotel we will stay there again. Give it a go, you wont be disappointed. The Pearl is a real GEM....

Room Tip: We had a room on a high floor and did ask for it to be furthest from the elevator.

I have stayed at the Pearl 4-5 times in the past several months. Service is consistently above average. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. In-room Fridge, microwave, (bar)sink. Free breakfast downstairs is basic but adequate. Because its a small hotel, taxis often do not sit outside waiting for fares, so i suggest allowing an extra few minutes to get a cab in the morning.

My wife, daughter and I stayed here for seven nights.
The hotel is in a superb location, very friendly informative staff, great buffet breakfasts, gym and a very welcome free cheese and wine hour.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate booking it again if I'm lucky enough to visit the beautiful city of New York again.

Had a 4 night stay here, our first time in NYC. So glad I chose this hotel, the location is superb, minutes from Times Square.
Everything about the hotel was first class.
Staff extremely friendly and helpful, nice touch of a bottle of wine in our room when we arrived as the trip was for my husbands birthday
The rooms were extremely clean and welcoming after a busy day of sight seeing
This hotel is an oasis in the city that never sleeps...love it
Breakfast was a bonus and set us up for the day.
Will certainly be back

Living only 30 minutes out of the city, we planned a night away to see The Book of Mormon and sleep over at The Pearl; what a great experience. The Pearl was extremely clean and the service was "white glove". From the moment our car was valet parked to checking out, the service and experience was flawless. The continental breakfast was fresh and more than satisfying. For our next theater show we will without hesitation book a reservation at The Pearl.

My husband and I had date night and went to Broadway and decided to stay in NYC for the evening. We have pretty high expectations as our home is our Oasis. The Pearl is incredible and exceeded all our expectations.

Pros:
1. Location, Location, Location - can't be beat
2. Though in the middle of it all, it was relaxing, and none of the hustle bustle could be heard
3. Staff could not have been any more helpful or friendly
4. Decor was upscale, yet comfortable and very zen like
5. Complimentary continental breakfast in the morning was a nice touch
6. Chocolate at Turn down was a nice touch
7. EXTREMELY clean.
8. Complimentary drinks and snacks in the lobby (chips, animal crackers) was a nice touch.

Cons: NONE.

Without hesitation for NYC this is the only hotel to stay in. Both affordable and extremely upscale, chic, and comfortable at the same time.
Thank you, Pearl, we will be back soon.

This hotel is clean, tidy , friendly and is in the centre of the theatre district. Close to Metros for all directions and Times Square is only a block away. Food markets and restaurants all close by.
They have a great innovation of a wine and cheese evening at four every day, gets the guests to meet and converse.
