My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and the place is great. The hotel is very clean and perfectly located to time square and theater district. The staff is very nice and helpful. We will recommend this boutique hotel to everyone.

after hours of trawling the web to find the combination of affordability, location and decor, we finalised on this one. Having been to NYC before, I had an idea of what to expect.

Upon arrival we were met with courteous staff, a water dispenser at the front desk to parch our thirst from the Taxi journey in. We were a bit early so reception took our bags while the room was readied, with the customary dollar tips handed out everywhere, we went on our way to explore a bit of the theatre district. It is at this point we really appreciated that the location was as good as we hoped. Literally steps away from times square and several metro stops, everything you could possibly want is in reach!

When we came back to the hotel, the room was ready. We were told that there was a cheese and wine reception in the afternoon, and we made our way up to the room. On first appearance the room was good, tidy and a decent size. If your looking for a view, well you will be a bit disappointed, but that is quite the norm in NYC, at least for this price! The shower is great, plenty of power and its still a bit weird to me that there is a TV in the loo! The bed was fantastically comfy, and the window, bar the view, shut out the noise and had blackout curtains, so you could get plenty of rest. The only complaint we have about the room is that there were some creaky old pipes which seemed to rattle in the morning when everyone must have been getting ready. Apart from that, it was a great room.

A sign of their great customer service couldn't be highlighted better than a visit to Del Frisco's. Nearing the end of our meal, which was bumper in size, we were brought over a 7 layer lemon cake, courtesy of the hotel. It was delicious and a great touch that rounded off our stay in this hotel. Would we stay there again, yes probably, I think that in itself speaks volumes.

Just returned from 3 nights at The Pearl in New York. The reviews are always so good for this hotel that we were interested to see if we felt the same - we did!

It is in a perfect central location and the staff are very friendly and helpful (Juan on the front door very helpfully organising our return taxi).

Our room was very nice, the bathroom - and particularly the shower - were lovely!

We particularly appreciated the free hot drinks on the 2nd floor available all the time. Also the free cheese, snacks, hot drinks and wine hour 4-5 pm every day which was a welcome relief after a day of sightseeing! The continental breakfast was also good.

We would definitely recommend The Pearl to anyone - it lives up to all the glowing reviews it receives!

We recently came back from a family vacation to NYC and we very much enjoyed our stay at the Pearl! The location is incredible!!!! It's a 2 minute walk to Times Square and close to many theaters (it's directly across the street from where "The Book of Mormon" is playing and a very short walk to many others). It's located close to a subway stop though we only took the subway once! Most of the sites we took in were within walking distance. There are also several great restaurants close by as it's very close to the Hell's Kitchen district.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were happy to provide us with restaurant recommendations and to book reservations for us. They also helped us with our luggage when we arrived and were always there to open the front door as we were coming and going.

The hotel is very clean and well kept. The lobby and 2nd floor lounge are very nice. Having breakfast available at the hotel each morning was very convenient! They had a decent spread of pastries, bagels, muffins, yogurt, fruit, and cereal. The hotel also had snacks and drinks available 24/7 and offered a complimentary wine and cheese each day from 4-5pm, which was great since we were back at the hotel by that time to get ready for dinner and evening shows.

The room was also very nice. We had 2 very, very comfortable queen beds and the room was quite spacious. There was a large patio off of our 2nd floor room with a lounge chair and some other chairs. The room was clean and quite modern. The bathroom was also quite large with modern fixtures...it even had a TV!

In summary, I would highly recommend staying here for the location, friendly staff, and clean, comfortable accommodations.

The Pearl was the perfect place for us to stay on my husband's first trip to NYC. We were late and could not get into the restaurant we wanted so Juliet on the front desk got us into The Palm which was out of the this world. The room was beautiful and roomy. There were Philosophy shampoos as the toiletries - fab!!! The WIFI was great (a selling point for us) and very strong in the whole hotel. The hotel was close to everything - theatres, Central park, shopping and subways. We would stay there again in a minute!! Thanks to all the staff and mgmt for this lovely oasis.
