“Good Morning, America!”

This was a fun and FREE experience! We arrived around 6:30 and were on the second row so I would recommend getting there by 6 a.m. But we were on TV during one of their guest interviews! Josh wasn't there that day and Lara never came out but we saw Sam Champion a lot and shook hands with Robin! It was fun to be so close to the action! We were back at our hotel by 9:15 a.m.

“Outside with audience”
Reviewed 17 June 2013

We were out early one morning, on a recent trip to NYC, and stopped by the ABC studios, outside area, where the crowds were gathered . A segment on wedding dresses was being organized in this comma shaped , roped off area, so we stopped and watched . I was struck by how small the area was, as the camera always makes the area appear quite large. Extra security was on hand, we were told, due to a recent incident at NBC the previous week. Still, just walking up was doable and we were a few rows back.

“Excellent...do not miss this!!”
Reviewed 14 June 2013

We were visiting NYC with our granddaughter (age 9)...the main thing she wanted to do while in NY was visiting GMA (she watches Josh's Play of the Day, and Sam's weather every morning before school). So, we arrived at 40th & Broadway around 7:00 a.m. (as was suggested)...and there was a small crowd of people, not to many. We stood where the crowd was for a bit, then while one person held the spot there, two (including my granddaughter) walked over to where you could actually see the GMA staff broadcasting. This was a wise decision...she was on GMA during the entire weather forecast (everyone back home could see her). If you stand side of the monitor where the weather map is...you will be seen. We then came back to the outside area...and we were standing there when Sam came out to do the weather. We were very close to him...could hear all that he was saying. Then we walked back to the area where they were broadcasting...and when the staff switched locations to air...Josh...actually walked by the window...waved...and winked at my granddaughter (she was thrilled...and I happen to be taking a video at the time...so she has this memory in video to keep). Overall, the crowd was not bad (we were there on a Tuesday), and I would recommend doing this at least once...well worth it.

“So much fun”
Reviewed 30 May 2013

This was a highlight of our trip. Very easy walked right up about 6:30 and waited. My daughters had made a sign already but if not they give out posters and markers to make a sign while you wait. We were there on Memorial Day so it wasn't too busy. The staff was nice they came out talked to people. The crowd was nice and fun to wait with. It was fun to watch how they show is put together.

“Too Easy”
Reviewed 11 May 2013

It was so easy to walk to the studio and stand there and watch this wonderful staff work both inside and out. It was fascinating to see how the show flows so well from one location to the next.
