Spent 3 nights, attending a business conference. Check-in was quick. One queen bed, room was small by normal standards - but to be expected in NYC. I only slept there so it was quite enough for me. Would have been cramped for two. Room was pretty clean. The elevator system takes some getting used to, but it's a great idea I've never seen before. All hotel staff was very friendly - I was limping on the last day, one of the staff asked if I was okay when they greeted me :)
We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast bar in the morning ($), and also nicely surprised by a jazz singer in the lobby that evening.
A great location, blocks from Times Square and near a subway station. A great price, plus we got a conference booking rate.
