Close to 9th avenue for restaurants

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, clean hotel and would recommend

Room Tip: Go high for quieter rooms we were on 24th and could stillhear sirens!

I just spent 3 nights at the ROW...very well situated, the rooms are small and modern, good enough for one person, two would be a stretch...luckily I was on a high floor so not much noise...I had to remind the staff to vacuum....otherwise it was fine...would I stay again? if I have to be around Times Square yes I would!

We stayed the the Row Nyc on a sunday evening having only booked it the night before on a spare of the moment decision we were not disappointed. When we arrived it was busy for checkin however we weren't waiting long. Very helpful on check in and even recommended a good restaurant for dinner and gave us a welcome drink in the bar. The room was extremely clean however a little on the small side but who cares when we had a amazing view of Times Square. Location wise it is all you could want one block over from Times Square. When booking the hotel I would highly recommended that you book a city view room or you could be stuck with a view of a wall.
Overall great hotel would definitely stay again.

The location was just awesome ! We had a wonderful time walking to Times Square and back to find our comfortable bed. The rooms are tiny but very clean and modern. On our next trip to NYC we will book this hotel again for sure.

The hotel is in a perfect location so everything is near. The room was a very small and noisy. Michelle from guest relations took care of our issues and was great. Jordan the concierge was also great as he helped plan our trip perfectly and pointed us in the right direction. If you are visiting NYC i would recommend Row NYC cause the staff was very friendly and location is great.

Last October I planned a trip to New York City. I found a landmark hotel that had been completely renovated. The Hotel, The Row, was formally known as the Milford Plaza. The environment was semi chic and comfortable. The staff was very attentive to my needs and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

I liked the experience at The Row so much I stayed there again in June. Everything that I remembered from the previous trip had not changed. The Hotel was even better. Of course the staff were wonderful. One employee in particular really made a difference during my stay. Pauline, the Room Attendant, was especially friendly and had a great attention to detail. It is in the attention to details that make a trip a great experience.

For a great value try The Row NYC. It is comfortable and clean. Hopefully Pauline will be your Room Attendant. I promise that you wont be disappointed.

Traveling with friends to NYC to see some shows this weekend, we were looking for a nice place to stay that wouldn't break the bank. There's lots of nice in New York, but lots of break the bank too. It can be a difficult challenge, especially since we also wanted to stay around Times Square. After some research, we found ROW NYC.

The facade looks like so many other buildings. (Previously, the building was known as the Lincoln, the Manhattan, and the Milford Plaza.) But the character comes to greet you as you walk in the lobby. You have to go up the stairs to get to the main lobby (elevator available). The check-in was quick and friendly. The elevators to the floors are different. We had never seen anything like them before. You went to a keypad and entered the floor you wanted. It would then tell you which of the many elevators to wait for. When it opened, you stepped in and it took you to that floor. There were no floor buttons on the inside of the elevator. The walls are covered in bright graphics. The rooms aren't large, but well appointed. Even the alarm clock has a Lightning connector for your iPhone 5 and up. The beds were comfortable and the sheets soft. The only downsides were: the air conditioner was very loud when it kicked on and the thermostat was in Celsius. Also, there were no hand towels or wash cloths. I told the clerk about the towels when I checked out, but since we had prepaid with Expedia, she couldn't do anything about the rate. (Downside of prepaying with a 3rd party service?) Another quirk is while they advertise free wifi, when we checked in, we were told that was just one device per room at a time. Anything over that was $5. That's a bit misleading, IMHO. And who has just one wifi device anymore?

There was a live swing band with a really good singer (Fleur Seuele) who is there every Saturday night. People were swing dancing up a storm. The lounge had cool, but comfortable seating.

This was just a blitzkrieg of a visit. We are planning on coming back in November and will probably stay at the Row again. The location, comfort, amenities and price all come together to make a winning combination.
