I usually don't post negative reviews, but this place is so horribly bad that I just can't keep it to myself. I frequently attend Lincoln Center events, from the Met Opera to Mostly Mozart to Alice Tully Hall, and Arpeggio should be my go-to spot. But every time I've tried it, it has been abysmal! It's almost impossible to get waited on, and when someone finally does deign to notice you, they simply carry your food/drink from point A to point B, and at a snail's pace. There is no attempt to treat customers as if they are actually real human beings, who are spending $$$ as a captive audience inside Avery Fisher Hall. Given the better places nearby, such as Boulud Epicerie, Nick and Tony's, and Craftwich, I'll never bother with this dreadful excuse for a food/beverage purveyor again.

They don't try. They don't care. They would be content if you passed them by. Be wise and avoid this miserable place. Spend your money where the people are hospitable.

Direct from the menu... Local Hand Crafted Cheese
Variety of Sheep, Goat & Cow’s Milk Cheeses
Local Baked Breads, Chutney, Roasted Nuts......$18.00
What you got was a teaspoon of Chutney, 8 nuts, sliced in strips pita bread(4 strips), 3 2x2 slices of cheddar, 3 crumbles of Parmesan, and some other form of cheddar. Absolutely NO UPSCALE CHEESE for 18.00 an embarrassment. ....10.00 glass of wine...just forget it.

The menu is great and the prices seem reasonable until you see that the portions are small by anyone's standards. The food was lovely, and well-cooked but there just wasn't enough of it. The service is quick and professional.

We were left feeling that, although it was a good choice because we were visiting the Lincoln Center, it really wasn't value for money.

Stopped in for a bite and wine after the opera matinee, and was put off at first by the attitude of the maitre d'. Once we were seated and talked with the waiter, the service got better. The food is okay, but not outstanding. Four of us shared a $45 bottle of Astoria prosecco, which sells for $11 at your neighborhood package store. We had smoked salmon, pear salad, Arpeggio salad, and seafood salad, all of which served the purpose of a small, light course. There are better dining choices in the area, but it was a good place for a conversation.
