“Pure Comfort”
Reviewed 9 April 2014

We booked this hotel because of the great weekend rate, location, and because it was a Hilton property. We were pleased with everything about the hotel. The checkin was quick and welcoming. The room was an upgrade on a high floor which eliminated road noise. The bed was wonderful, and the room was beautifully appointed. The lobby was quite nice with an open and inviting bar. The drinks were quite expensive so we only had one. The security was always present. We highly recommend this as a great weekend get away.

Room Tip: We were on the 33rd floor and it had great views of the city and was quiet.

Spent Saturday night there during Christmas season. Hotel is right in Times Square and Theater District; and a short walk from Grand Central and Bryant Park (holiday shops during Christmas season). Located right in middle of Dave and Busters, McDonalds, and awesome AMC Empire 25; so you don't have to go far for entertainment. Room could probably use an update, but was clean and there was plenty space. Had south facing room with view of World Trade Center. Breakfast buffet (comped, not sure of cost) was perfect! Would recommend this hotel for the true New York experience! Will be back.

Room Tip: Back side of hotel had great view of new World Trade Center.

The hotel forgot to have water in the room before we arrived. Breakfast was absolutely busy - no service or acknowledgement that the staff was working on getting a table ready (there were at least 3 dirty ones). Fresh fruit not restocked. This improved next day (Tuesday). Breakfast conditions and service generally better after 10 AM.

Friendly staff. Expect to be asked about Hilton's new timeshare program.

Centrally located to theaters, Chelsea Market, Central Park…

I stay here at least once a month while in NYC on business. The hotel is very well managed, the rooms lovely and the staff quite helpful. On our last visit we arrived late and were tired and quite hungry, the desk clerk offered to call our favorite French bistro and arranged for a table 30 minutes after arrival on a busy Thursday night. Room service is always prompt and the rooms are recently renovated, quite clean and well appointed. Even though this hotel is in the midst of the Times Square hustle and bustle, the service and property are worth the small inconveniences.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that does not face Times Square

This hotel is expensive but well worth it for the central location. We were welcomed for my birthday treat with a cake, card and balloons in the room, free of charge. My daughter requested a high floor, and were put on the 44th floor (the top). It was fantastic and we could see the Empire State Building from our room. The lift was fast and efficient, as were all the staff. Room service was great, internet connection brilliant, the bed was so comfortable and we fell asleep with a wonderful city and river view. Blackout curtains if you wanted darkness. There was little noise considering its location and certainly did not feel high up except near the window. Bar expensive as was room service, but we were on a special treat. One glass of white wine Saturday evening cost us $14.50! I would recommend eating in" Applebees" which is next door to the hotel. They do the most fantastic potatoes and is much less expensive than the hotel. Close to the subway (which is very reasonable $2.75 for one single journey to anywhere). All in all, we had a great time.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a high floor room.

I recently booked a group of rooms at the Times Square Hilton. Everyone couldn't have been nicer. Starting with the Sales Manager, Indira Naidu. She was on top of everything. The Bell Staff was fabulous. They helped me out with my event needs and with a smile. The hotel is in the heart of Times Square, couldn't ask for a better location. The rooms are large, clean and neat with wonderful views. Once in the room you don't hear all the sounds outside which is amazing. I highly recommend this hotel. And, I'm booking the hotel again for next year.

Overall, I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was clean, all the staff was friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the location which was just off of Time Square. On our last day we were too tired to do much so ended up walking a few doors down to the AMC to catch a movie. The only downside was getting back tired and walking in to have to take an elevator to the 15th floor to get to the lobby, and then another elevator to our room. The in-room dining service was average & the bar was really expensive but again everyone was friendly.
