“Great staff and location!”
Reviewed 21 July 2014

I stay in New York City quite often so I know the variations that can be found in various hotels. This hotel has an excellent, friendly, attentive staff. It is in a great location with easy access to Times Square, the Theatre District, and a subway to stop to other areas of NYC. The rooms were very nice and the breakfast buffet had good variety.

The hotel is in a pretty good location if you enjoy the huge city crowds around Times Square. Which I thought was cool. Negatives are the price. Like most of New York City things are real expensive and rooms are small. Also this one has a double elevator trip as the lobby is like 14 floors up. Overall it was just ok.

compared to other hotels near by that we stayed at, the staff was very friendly and the room was much larger than our other room. It was conveniently located to Time Square and many of the attractions around town.

I selected this hotel, because of it's location and I was not dissapointed. Located on 42nd street directly next to Times Square you're in the center of Manhatten. The staff was very friendly and the gave us a room on the 44 floor with a view to die for. After a 9 hour flight it was the perfect view to lift one up and relax.
The romm was a Deluxe room with a kingsice bed and the room was very nice and modern. The room came with a refrigerator, wich is very nice so you cvan buy youre own sodas and water. This is perfect when you visit New York in July when the temparetur is around 85-90 every day.
I sleeped like a baby the whole week I was there, I could't here the noise from the street, it was very quiet.
All the staff was very helpfull, so I will higly recommend this and I will sure visit it agian next time I come to NYC

This hotel is in the heart of the theater district and close to a major subway station. Easy to walk get to just about anywhere. By NYC standards, the rooms are very large. My family of 4 were quite comfortable in a single room. We felt very safe. Policemen everywhere. Well lit. Everything works: the elevators, the air-conditioning, hot water, etc. I know this sounds trivial, but I have stayed in many NYC hotels where things don't work. Outstanding service. The team here aims to please. Knowledgeable concierge, fast check-in and out, and easy to park car and transfer luggage. The only potential negative is that because of the location, the sidewalks are extremely crowded. Also, because the entrance is small and somewhat hidden, hard to find the first time. The actual hotel is spacious and on the upper floors.

I was welcomed by an awesome lady named Correta! She made me feel at home in this hotel. Great location, as soon as you walk out of the hotel, you see the bright lights of NY. The room's condition is ok but can do better. Luckily I had the view of the Empire State Building. I just fell asleep staring at it :) Soraya is awesome too!

Many hotels charge a small holding fee when checking in- usually around $100. The Hilton however charged the full accommodation cost (US$3000) off my debit card on check-in. However, on checking out they put it through a second time. They should have cancelled the first debit but didn't. The end result was I was $3000 down on my debit card for the whole U.S. trip which caused major financial problems - we couldn't work out where all the money had gone, requiring urgent tops of the travel card. The travel card people say the charge will disappear 15 business days after the charge if the hotel does nothing, but this does not help us for a two week trip. Thanks to the Hilton for ruining a trip! The hotel itself was good and well located.
