Last November we saw the Dead Sea Scrolls and the CSI exhibits at this museum. The CSI exhibit was way too juvenile (and the interactive items too easy) for our group--kids ages 12 - 17, and adults. The Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit was excellent. I returned last week with my 13 yr old for the Terracotta Warriors exhibit, which also was excellent. I just can't believe how high priced this museum is. It was cheaper than traveling to Jerusalem or China, but it's pricey for a museum.

Yes, it is overpriced. But, where can you go to see this important historical find and not make the long trip over the pond.
You do get the flavor of the exhibit, although, the number of figures in the exhibit is somewhat limited.
Still worth it, the historical importance overwhelms.

Yes, this isn't cheap, but I've been to a number of shows here (Terra Cotta Warriors today) and have really enjoyed them. They do offer discounts, so you can get a better price if you look around before going. I recommend the big shows (like Terra Cotta Warriors, King Tut, Pompeii, Harry Potter) over the ones in the smaller space (Spy, CSI). This is a very specific concept, and it won't be for everyone, but it's a chance to see a show you are not going to see anywhere else. We always spring for the audio tours, and almost always think it was money well spent.

The Terra Cotta Warriors exhibit was kind of a disappointment for us! The exhibit was quite limited and frankly I was expecting more figures to be on display. While somewhat interesting it was not worth the money we shelled out for the admission.

Loved it. It was facinating. Videos from real spies. So many real spy gagets. Stories about spies that were caught. We did the audio but there wasn't audio for every area and it didn't provide any extra info. I think we were there for almost 4 hours. Can't wait to see what the next exhibit is. We've been to DTS many times.
