“Lego Brick Exhibition”

Took my primary aged boys to the exhibition. They loved it! So many different artworks. Thoroughly enjoyable. Maybe a little pricy though.

“Some good exhibits, bad pricing structure”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 October 2013

I recently visited this so called museum and I was upset by the pricing structure. You pay per exhibit that you want to see, instead of paying a single admission price. The prices were very high to see some exhibits that were mediocre. The Body Worlds exhibit was really well done and fascinating; the Art of the Brick not so much. I felt a price point of $25 for admission to all the exhibits would be fair.

“Fun”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 September 2013

Of course it depends on what exhibits are there, but we saw the Body Worlds Pulse and the Art of the Brick, both of which were outstanding. This is a great alternative to the really tourist-y stuff in midtown and perfect for kids because it's contained and the exhibits are not too dense or time consuming.

“Art of the Brick”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 September 2013

I only went to Art of The Brick and it was amazing! I was really inspired and I think everyone and anyone would really love this. I have some pics on my blog from the exhibit and also two ways to get discounts. One is for 20% OFF and the 45% OFF. Do something nice for yourself and someone you love and check it out. “Shipwreck! Pirates & Treasure”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 September 2013

A short distance away from Times Square is Discovery Place which can always be relied upon to put on interesting exhibitions. Of the three that were on during my visit to New York I decided to see 'Shipwreck! Pirates & Treasure' while the rest of the family went shopping. This was presented in conjunction with Odyssey Marine Exploration. For someone who has spent the last 20 years working on a range of marine and maritime matters I found the exhibition totally absorbing. When I was last in New York in October 2009 the exhibition that I viewed comprised artifacts recovered from the RMS Titanic so this venue would seem to be a must for someone with my interests. If there is a downside it is the prohibition on the viewing public taking photos.
