I stayed at The Muse Hotel a few times when visiting NYC. It is in a perfect location, walking distance to many attractions as well as to major subway lines. It is situated on a busy street right off times square, but once in the lobby of the hotel, you forget the chaos of Times Square while you take in the beautiful lobby of the hotel and the nice atmosphere of the hotel. Check in was quick and easy.. and my room was so nice, tastefully decorated , corner room, very quiet, very clean, spacious, comfortable bed, nice quiet sleep... couldnt ask for anything more! During Happy Hour, i went for a glass of wine and the people at the hotel are so polite. One man, i think he was from the cleaning staff, not sure, but was so nice and kind and talked about the happy hour and said " go and enjoy a nice glass of wine".. just really friendly people there , no matter what their job was at the hotel, everyone was very kind and appreciated the guests..

Room Tip: Ask for quiet room away from elevator

We stayed at the Muse, just off Broadway and we were so glad we did! Very courteous staff,
friendly and spotless. We enjoyed the little happy hour, where we could mingle with other travelers from around the globe. Hard to believe the excitement of Broadway was a short distance away - it was so peaceful in our room. Will definitely be back!

Super hotel in a quite little street very near from Times Square (200m? ). The employees are very helpful and professional. All the hotel is decorated with modern / design furnitures. Don't miss to go the restrooms during your stay. You will be surprised. There are so many attentions as well all the day : free hot drinks (coffee tea. ..), newspapers, iced tea on the afternoon and lemonade and choice of wines at 5:00pm. Ambiance really friendly. Bedrooms are enough large with big bathroom and all commodities. We were 4 in our bedroom and no problem with space. Beds are a little small. Breakfast, "quick start" buffet, for 16$ is very good including orange juice, hot drink (coffee is good), milk, choice of mini danish pastries, toasts, jams, butter and 2 large bowls of fresh fruits. All you need to start with vitality. To conclude I recommand this hotel for everybody: family, couple, professionals. A very good hotel for the location, services ans the price. If I go to NY in the future I will go there for sure.

This hotel is just a short walk from the theater district and Times Square, with a mid-block location that is remarkably quiet for NYC. The rooms are decorated in a cool, contemporary style. For NY, they are relatively spacious and for me, and this is critical, they are extraordinary clean. Great comfortable bed, super restaurant off lobby, and the typical and fabulous Kimpton amenities. Great place to stay while touring NY or doing business in mid-town area.

We stayed here three nights in suite with terrace. The room (1504) and it's fittings were great the only problem was the noise due to the fact that the extractor vents for the whole hotel seemed to be located directly outside our window - the noise made the terrace unusable.
You might think that would have been enough to put me off but the hotel is so nice in other ways that I'd still recommend it - just make sure you don't get that room.

Clean, clean, clean bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. Accommodating staff from the front desk, bell man, housekeeping to the restaurant. Easy walk to Rockefeller Center, Broadway Shows and Times Square. A really fun weekend. Daniela was especially helpful.
