For a special treat, book the Raymond Hood suite. Expansive room(s) with views of the Empire State and Bryant Park. Whilst not much time in the room (it's NYC after all ), Our 2 week stay made all the more fun by the separate living area, huge bathroom, two outdoor terraces and a massive bedroom.
Our enjoyment of the Hotel and the city, was enhanced by very friendly, helpful and professional entertainment planners (concierge). Nothing was too much trouble and difficult requests like tickets to Book of Mormon were obtained. A must see Broadway show!
Front of house staff were equally helpful.
Compliments specifically to Sarah and Felix for their 'can do attitude' and thanks to Eric for securing a reservation for cocktails and the best view at the Boom Boom room at The Standard.
In room dining appears to be separate from the hotel and is expensive ! No coffee making facilities in the room, and with taxes, a large pot of coffee was in the vicinity of $20. Best to order hot water and make your own.
Our overall experience was so fabulous that we will stay at The Bryant Park on our return to NYC.
If you're planning on sight seeing and dining Uptown and Midtown the location is perfect. Less than 10 minutes from Grand Central and taxis are inexpensive.
Book the Bryant for location, service and The Raymond Hood Suite for a real treat.More
