This is a fun tour of Central Park that covers many of the major sites throughout the park. Matt, our guide was knowledgeable and very engaging. I especially enjoyed some of the lesser known trivia about some of the locations. As luck would have it we enjoyed an almost perfect day of fall weather which added to the experience but its Central Park so it would be hard not to enjoy it except on the worst of weather days. Be advised the tour is about 21/2 hours and there is a lot of walking involved at a fairly good clip from point to point. For walkers such as myself that was great but if you have trouble walking this could be an issue. The group size was 11 which was decent and you didnt feel like you were walking with a mob. There is lots of room to ask questions and Matt was very well versed in the city's history to answer them. As the title says Im a native New Yorker but it was fun to play tourist and see the park from a different perspective. Budget alert. Tickets are sometimes offered through Goldstar which will help you stretch your dollar. No matter what a great value and great time.
