Pros, Staff was excellent very friendly, the building was modern, had good design and layout. Also near Central Parker. Had umbrellas for use when raining. Cons, no ice machine or fridge and bathroom bath was to high and not enough counter space.

Wow. What a refreshing find this was. Ample space which normally comes at a ridiculous price in Midtown at a more than reasonable price. We came to the Quin after a horrible experience at W on 5th Avenue. Normally, we enjoy W properties because they are hip, friendly, trendy and happening. But the W 5th was not any of those. Our room was dark, cramp and unclean. The carpet was soiled. I could go on and on but want to talk about the Quin which was FANTASTIC. I called them and explained what was going on at the W and they directed me "to come on over" and let them begin to "right the ship". Even though check in was at 3, we immediately came over around noon expecting to just check our luggage with the bellman. Instead, we were escorted directly to our room, complete with a king size bed. However, upon entry the bellman noticed that the air-conditioning panel was not completely attached to the unit. He not only apologized to us but immediately called downstairs to convey the issue. After hanging up with the front desk manager he explained to us that this was completely unacceptable by Quin standards and that we were being upgraded to a suite. He then proceeded to escort us to a Corner Suite room. It was luxurious complete with a King bed, white comforter and crisp, clean linens. The amenities in the bathroom included Gilchrist and Soames which are some of our favorites. The hotel itself is quiet and intimate and the service attentive from every staff member. The hotel is located on the corner of 57th and 6th and is within walking distance to Central Park, Lincoln Center and Times Square. We have stayed at several branded properties in Manhattan along with some boutique hotels but our new favorite is the Quin. This is a 5 star luxury hotel in every way for a 3 star price. Please don't miss out on this gem!

...I had to. This is a great non-national brand alternative in midtown, super close to great dining, great shows, Central Park, and 5th Ave shopping. Despite the hustle and bustle outside, the hotel is cozy, intimate, quiet, and luxurious on the inside. The experience begins with a wonderful scent upon entry. Door staff and front desk are extremely hospitable. Rooms are modest in size (but this is NY) but exceptionally well appointed. Super high-tech features like controlling the shades, lighting, climate, etc. all with the touch of a tablet. Bed was notably comfortable. I would make this my special-occasion hotel in NY for sure.

This was a pleasant surprise. It is new and new is always good. My wife likes a bath tub so that was the only negative, but NY hotel rooms are always too small for that. Great linens and technology that worked and you can figure out.

The Quin is a great, new hotel in a great location on 57th. The restaurant is excellent as is the room service. We were always greeted with a friendly smile from the doormen. Will stay here again for sure.

A great jam in one of the best locations in New York City. We found the hotel room quite small but for New York City standards it was ok. The bed was comfortable but no extremely comfy where you don't want to get out of bed. It was a little uncomfortable to read laying on bed - not good lighting and no comfy pillows. Even thou we chose to walk to the near Starbucks right next door to the hotel, the room offered nexpresso coffee. I will say the only bad experience we had was at the bar. It took about 20 - 30 min to get out cocktails, we did get the food right away. Overall a great experience in a new hotel in NYC
