“If you want a broadway show but don't like arty dance, this might be for you”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

To start off, if you've seen iLuminate on Americas Got Talent (AGT) and enjoyed them, they are just as entertaining live

If not and you like dance, technology and entertainment, but don't like old style shows, then this might be for you

To start with you MUST be aware that this show is performed live in complete darkness
There are also flashing lights
Finally, no cell phones and/or cameras (but you can take in a bag and keep them in there during the performance)

This is reinforced at the beginning of the performance, and in a very humourous method, in partial darkness
The lights then go out and the performance begins

Sadly the storyline is a little unclear, but that doesn't detract from the performance
There are short sections of traditional dance and lifts, where clearly the scenery is being changed, showing how talented all ten of the artists are
As it is dark you don't really notice the scenery being changed, but it is partially visible in the front rows

The effects are exactly what you seen in AGT
The performers are NOT restricted to the stage
Several times they occupy the stairs and several rows at the front
Therefore for the best view book an aisle seat in the middle
Sadly our seats were at the front so we had to turn our heads quite often to see where the action was
Finally, if you have very young children, do NOT book a seat at the front, but it would be suitable for anyone who is not easily scared
There is a section of the performance at the end where the action interacts with the front row

The performance is quite short, at 50 minutes, but it is continuous

Overall, an hours entertainment that is quite unique to New York

“Avenue Q”

If you know about this then you know how funny it is. The theater was very nice and I had excellent seats. Actually I don't believe there is a bad seat in the house. Several plays going at once but never heard any outside noise. The play was hilarious. Cocktails served on both levels and I just had a great time. Definitely would see another show here.

“Wonderful suite of theaters, terrific show”
Reviewed 9 May 2014

We were there to see the premier of Heathers The Musical, which was beyond fantastic. The theater was fantastic too, though, with a nice bar and such.

“Iluminate was fun!”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

Very good show and very cool how they use the costumes and lights to tell the story. We picked up tickets at the half price ticket spot in Times Square and I'll say this, the show is worth it if you grab the tickets here; I'd have been a bit disappointed if I paid full price for the tickets. The cast was nice enough to come back out a take pictures with any of the guests that stuck around. All in all a fun way to spend the evening if you didn't plan ahead and are looking for a last minute show to see. Very talented and fun to watch.

“Bubbles Galore”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

We took 2 of our grandchildren to see the Gazillion Bubble Show at this theater over the weekend. The show was great for all ages. The theater is subterranean under a beautiful park that you can have lunch or dinner in. There are three nice little restaurants in the park as well as a Starbucks of course. This theater has three other shows going on as well. The staff was very courteous and of course there is a gift shop. The kids had their picture taken inside a really BIG BUBBLE. Had a great time and not a bad seat in the house.
