You absolutely cannot beat the view of NYC from NJ! Try it! Take Blvd East about a mile north to the viewing sites.

We are traveling in a 40 foot catamaran and sailed from Cape Verde to Barbados, then up through the Carribean and back to the U.S. The New York skyline is a beautiful sight, and even on a grey and cloudy day, the buildings show a distinct character. The view from the middle of the Hudson River is one I'll remember for a long time to come@

It’s impossible to take your eyes off the vast expanse of skyscrapers as you ferry in from the Hudson.

Yes! If you get across Hudson river and get to New Jersey, and go high to take a good view.. And if you are lucky how I was, that was a sunny clear day and wait.. Wait for Sundown, you will see magnificent, spectacular moments :)

Manhattan is famous for lots of things & one of those is its skyscrapers. Some of the most iconic ones are located right here. There’s many tours you can book to get a great view, by land, water or air! There are also free ways & a very inexpensive way to do it also. We rode The Staten Island Ferry, which is free, & you get awesome views especially at sunset. You can walk The Brooklyn Bridge & marvel as you stop a million times to make pictures (like we did). For the price of one metro card swipe, you can ride The Roosevelt Tram where you also have excellent views. The further you go out of the city, the better your view. Whether you do this in the daytime or at night, both are beautiful just in different ways. There’s still lots of other ways to get great views:
Empire State Building
Top of the Rock
One World Observatory
Rooftop Bars
The Highline
& probably still more. It’s almost breathtaking the first time you see the skyline!
