This is a quite nice way to spend a few hours even if the range of animals is limited. The sea lions proved to be the star attraction as they put on their own show.

It was nice for something to do on a beautiful day, but probably won't go back. Its a been there, done that type of a thing. Small space, and crowds of people (went on a Saturday). There were not many animals but there were plenty of rude people. People who would stand in front of you, while you are seated watching the sea lions or people who allowed their 7 - 10 year old children to trample toddlers to feed the mangy sheep in the petting zoo.

This was on my daughter's must-do list and she was seriously underwhelmed, naming it 'The worst zoo in the world'. There really aren't enough animals to justify the $18 ticket price. The snow leopard was nowhere to be seen and the polar bear has sadly died. The rainforest section was quite good, however. This looked newly developed. And the penguins and seal ions were fun. But we were in there less than hour.
'Wildlife Centre' might be a better name. 'Zoo' gives the impression of something much larger.

Went here on an impulsive visit to the park to use up some spare time. We were charged $12 each as adults and walked around the zoo within 45 minutes! Certain areas was closed off and some animals did a no show mainly due to the heat which I can understand. I felt we should have been informed of certain closures as we probably would not have gone in. Even the shop was disappointing, it's changed since I was here in 2009. I wouldn't bother going as a good part of our 45 minutes was used just sitting around.

I'm not a fan of zoos in general but this one was disappointing as it is really small and doesn't have any really large animals. The children's petting zoo was cool if you have smaller children.
