We visited the Armory to watch Kenneth Branagh's interpretation of the Scottish play and my, was it a good idea to do it there!! The atmosphere inside the Armory is so conducive to a Shakespeare tragedy. Heavy wooden flooring and doors, high, high ceilings and paintings on the walls provided a brilliant backdrop and on their own were very interesting.
The drill hall was huge and impressive and certainly as a stage it was fantastic. We will have to go back to look at the place without any theatric props present.
