“Oasis in the midst of chaos”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

We had a wonderful prix fixed three course lunch in an elegant and quiet place just when we needed it. It is well worth the museum membership fee to have access to this restaurant.

“Best Meal in NYC. Superb Service. Magnificent Metropolitan Museum Ambience”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

We always return whenever in NYC and enjoyed another fantastic meal for Saturday Brunch on our visit in July 2014. Recommend the prix fixe brunch with across the board excellence in appetizers, blue crab salad, entrees, flat iron steak and salmon and delicious desserts Our server Lorraine was superb and extremely knowledgeable. A world class dining experience in arguably the best museum in the world, THE Metropolitan Museum of Art. Upscale but not stuffy with a gorgeous view of Central Park. A quiet oasis.

“A GREAT LUNCHEON”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

There was nothing to dislike. The service and food was wonderful. My daughter-in-law was a member then, & there were four of us. It was a perfect day., lorijon

“Elegant Service- A Gem on the Upper East Side”
Reviewed 17 May 2014

I dined twice this week with friends. The "early menu" is offered before 6pm and a great post-museum place for supper at a discounted price.
It's a pricey restaurant, but makes up for it with excellent service, great food & ambience.
The asparagus salad was fresh and very very tasty.

“It's worth the price of membership to be able to dine here”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

For years now, I've maintained whatever level of membership is needed to be able to eat here whenever I visit New York and the Metropolitan Museum. Food and service are always excellent, and the feeling of the place is genteel - calm, upscale, and away from the hustle and bustle, in a refined East Coast Establishment way, with most customers well dressed. The Sunday brunch is my favorite, but be aware that there is no alcohol served before noon. The view out over Central Park is lovely. Ask for a table next to the windows or one table away from them. My only complaint is that the menus don't change as often as they might to please more frequent visitors.
