Went on the all access tour and enjoyed every minute of this . The tour guide was brilliant and we got to see all areas of this amazing venue. It was my husbands choice to go on this tour and I was a bit unsure, but I throughly enjoyed and would highly recommend .

Great place to see the Rangers play some great hockey. Personally, a Penguins fan, so this is the closest place for me to see some great hockey. Never had a bad seat, food, or experience here. People are friendly here...they actually talk to you instead of being stuck up and snobby like some cities. Great place for concerts as well.

The reason I visited New York was specifically to see Billy Joel at the Garden. Whilst he was absolutely brilliant and the sound/lightning/staging was great. I did not enjoy the experience.
The ticket said the show starts promptly at 8pm, however at this time the arena was still half empty. I was on an aisle seat and stood until 8.25 waiting for people to come and fill the empty seats, but no-one showed. I sat and five minutes into the show (8.35) a couple more came in, followed by a couple more. One guy came in at 9.40! People are getting up walking in and out the whole show, meaning you have to keep standing etc.
The seating policy is an absolute disgrace. Not only is it disrespectful to the artist and also other fans, it's not very safe. I'm not sure if it's the same with concert arenas across the US, but I wouldn't recommend the Garden based on this experience despite the fact the show was excellent.
