One of the best Hampton Inn's ever. Location is great. Cleanliness is excellent. Breakfasts plentiful. Parking reasonable. Yes, rooms are smaller than Hampton's off the interstates, but this is NYC and our room was ample. Bathrooms well equipped. Staff were all wonderful with special mention to the terrific Freddy Torres. Only complaint is the one lonely and slow elevator but, hey, this is New York.

I liked very much the staff at the hotel, it's location (10 min from subway stations and meters from the Brooklyn Bridge) and very delicious breakfast. On top of that, there is coffee/tea and cookies available 24/7. The rooms are rather spacious and clean, but there is an issue to be aware about: river-side rooms face a working construction yard, so sleeping there is a challenge. thus request to have a fin district-facing rooms

Great location - hotel staff were wonderful & very helpful, the Continental breakfast was a winner, easy access to venues/subway/points of interest was within walking distance to include the Ferry, a couple of restaurants just around the corner from the hotel, two parking lots next to hotel..

Hampton Inn at the South Street Seaport is a reasonable value for folks needing a home base in the Financial District of Manhattan. The rooms are small, but very clean. The lobby/breakfast area is recently renovated and provides an area to grab a quick bite before heading out. Beware, of it's location and proximity to the subway as it is a 5-10 minute hike to the Fulton Street Station.

Just came back from a wonderful 4 day stay in NYC and I couldn't have picked a better hotel to stay in. The front desk staff was amazing and went above and beyond for our family. Luisa (front desk) is what loving your job is all about. I recommend staying here to everyone as the rooms were very clean and it was easy to get to anywhere we wanted to go in the city.
