“Amazing food experiences”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

I visited over Christmas 2013 and fell in love with Chelsea Market. There are so many fantastic food options - I loved the mini doughnuts stall. I purchased some nice foodie gifts to take back home with me and some artwork from the handmade market section.

“Chelsea Market”

Must visit Chelsea Market when you are in NYC. Went to The Lobster Place recently and ordered a lobster to share with a friend. The lobster was fresh and well cooked. In addition, we also ordered sushi and prawns. An awesome place for lunch !

“My NY friend called it her "happy place" & said we must go!”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

My very well traveled friend called Chelsea Market her "happy place" and said we must go! We did and she was right! I was so bummed we'd already eaten ramen earlier that day because they had everything - ramen, tacos, smoothies, popsicles. There is an amazing, huge culinary store, a barber, a rad bookstore, even a final sale outlet with all the name brands - I got some Free People stuff. There are pop-ups and a huge section of food vendors. There is an Anthropologie anchoring it, and some other awesome jewelry vendors. This is not your typical mall and I so wish we had a Chelsea Market type place in Chicago! Def check it out! Also, it's only steps from the Highline, another attraction to visit!

“Very cool!!”

I love the design of this old factory! The vendors were unique and the shops were cute. Plenty of places to eat as well.

“Absolutely!”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

Whatever you might like to eat, you can find it here....lots of small restaurants and kiosks, food stores, bookstores, kitchen accessories, The Food Network....all in an old converted biscuit factory. Great place to stop, eat and people watch. Huge diversity of menus. Cooking classes. Industrial art. Definitely worth a visit. Can get really crowded. Somewhat limited bathroom facilities, can be quite a line.
